In the video above, I show you how I like to apply a bold lip – and the tricks I use to avoid disaster.
1. Line the lips with a matching lip liner.

I have a few bold lipsticks I bought with the intention of rocking them on my lips, the furthest I've gotten is trying them while at home! I'm always scared of the smudging and Lippy on teeth, I'm going to try these and get my courage on!

I'm going to try this with Wet n Wild Cherry Bomb. Being a blonde I normally do a bold eye with nude lip, but I plan to switch it up tomorrow for a change. thanks for inspiring my FOTD tomorrow.

That is a gorgeous lip colour. I just recently tried a bright purple lip colour and wow! It's surprising what wacky colours you can get away with if you just where them with confidence!

I've been obsessed with lipsticks in various shades of violet, lilac etc. I don't consider bright purple to be wacky! Sometimes purple lipsticks don't translate to the lips as looking too purple (if that makes sense).

Agree! Have been wearing bold lips for years and seriously, it changes everything. Red lipstick is my go to when I am feeling down or need a booster!
