How to make your lipstick last longer

We have searched high and low for the best long-lasting lipsticks and while we may have found some winners along the way, we still sit up and pay attention when it comes to any tricks that can make them last even longer.
And who better to receive such advice from then Kylie Jenner (aka the queen of lips) and her make-up artist, Hrush Achemyan.
Hrush revealed recently that when it comes to fade-proofing your pout, it’s always best to start with a primer or lip conditioner. This will help to moisturise the lips and prevent cracking (a problem that often pops up with matte lipstick), not to mention help your lippy last longer.

Kylie adds that concealer is another important step if you really want your colour to go the distance. She writes on her app, "Just like with the primer/conditioner, apply a concealer all over the surface of your lips."
bh tip: If you use a concealer that’s lighter than the natural colour of your lips, this can make your lipstick appear brighter and more pigmented.
Looks like it’s all about the prep if you’re after long-lasting lip colour.
Have you tried any of the above tips before? What’s your best lipstick trick?

Lipgloss just comes straight off when you eat, you need a more matte lippie and then layer it up with pencil and some powder

Not sure what else I can try, I have tried so many 'suggestions' on how to make lipstick last longer but it still seems to wear off pretty quickly. I use good quality lipsticks so I don't think that is the cause why it doesn't want to last. Concealer ist my last hope and [perhaps that will do the trick. I always enjoy reading articles such as these. Thank You BH
