Emma Stone's winning red carpet looks

I’ve long been a fan of the sometimes-blonde, sometimes-redhead Emma Stone. She first charmed me with her quick wit and sense of humour, and then continued to win me over time and time again each time she stepped onto the red carpet. Yep, she’s one of those starlets who gets it right at every single award show imaginable.

Here’s what we’ve seen from her so far this year:

That cat-eye! The silver metallic liner! The rosy lips! All of them work so well together and would be enough to have us practising our winged liner, but then she threw those loose, red curls into the mix and it was like heaven in a beauty look.

21st Screen Actors Guild Awards

If you had any doubt that a simple, low-slung ponytail was cool, consider this confirmation to comb down your hair and tie it right up. The decision to finish off the look with a bright red lip and edgy (yet kinda glamorous) ear cuff was absolute genius. Fun fact: the exact lip colour Emma’s wearing here is Revlon Ultra HD in Gladiolus.

2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Wavy hair, a matte nude lip and a touch of navy eyeliner was the perfect combo for the red carpet, but even better than that, it’s the kind of look any woman can wear on any day. Bless you, Emma (or your very talented make-up artist and hair stylist), for making red carpet beauty so damn wearable IRL.

87th Annual Academy Awards

The dress colour may have been an unusual choice for the la-di-da Oscars, but man, did Emma pull it off. With her porcelain skin, freshly coloured red hair (in a sultry side-swept ‘do, no less), and bold lip, her outfit screamed chic. Emma’s make-up artist, Rachel Goodwin, created the custom lip colour by combining CHANEL Lip Definer in Rouge Candy and Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Tulip.
