I got this in shade 322 Corail in the Beauty Box from David Jones. Neither the formula nor the shade was right for me. I have an olive skin tone and this washed me out completely.

As for the formula, I find it a bit streaky and it does not go on uniformly. I tried to apply with a brush and straight from the tube but neither gave me results I was happy with.

I might try another shade later on but it is not high on my to try list.

These lipsticks are really interesting, I received a mini Rouge In Love Lipstick in a Christmas set in the colour Corail In Love (#332) and on first viewing the lipstick I thought it was going to be a matte colour, after swiping it on my lips I was surprised to see a bright, glossy colour staring back at me.

The formula is super light but intensely pigmented and certainly doesn't need any help on the glossy side of things, it feels hydrating and lasts fairly long and it could possibly last up to 6 hours if there was no eating and minimal drinking involved but if you're a normal person you will likely have to touch up during this time.

I really enjoy this lipstick, the packaging is gorgeous and made even more special by being a mini tube, the top secures firmly so I never fear having it in my bag.

I wouldn't likely pay $45 for a single lipstick but if I saw these in gift sets or there was some sort of purchase deal going on I would happily buy more, they really are lovely lipsticks.

Lancôme's Rouge in Love lipstick line is one of the most luxurious formulations I have ever come across. Despite the fact that the lipstick tubes are gorgeous, the texture, colour and application of the product is just beautiful!

Firstly, let's start with the packing. I love the heavy-weight metal casing, distinctly 'French Chic' theme with red accents. And though the lipstick is small in size, it's super sturdy and an absolute delight to look at. Lancome has clearly demonstrated a great attention to detail on the lipstick tube!

The lipstick formula gives a smooth, moisturising finish and it makes my lips feel nourished and supple. I also enjoy the mild rose fragrance.

The staying power of the lipstick is decent, due to the moisturising finish and the product does wear evenly, even without lipliner. And boy, do I enjoy whipping out the snazzy little tube for re-application.

Overall, I love this lipstick - it's a great pick-me-up or a perfect product to spoil yourself with. If you are after luxury, great colour ranges and smooth application... look no further!

I have this lipstick in the shade Rose Pitimini (353B). It is a beautiful lipstick. The colour is a really pretty rosy pink shade with a tiny hint of gold. It has a glossy finish. It has really good pigmentation when applied to the lips.

The best thing about this lipstick is how it feels. It is surprisingly light weight, almost like you are wearing nothing but the thinnest, nicest lip balm on your lips.

The lipstick lasts for a few hours on my lips and doesn't transfer onto things like glasses easily. However, I don't think it lasts the six hours as advertised.

The packaging is also luxurious. The lipstick comes in a small silver tube which is just adorable.

The shade range is great. I would like to try more of these in the future.

The colour that I've reviewed is Corail in Love which has the code 322M. It is a light peachy pinky coral that suits my porcelain coloured skin with yellowish undertones quite well.
This lipstick it is packaged in a shiny/silver cardboard box whilst the lip tube itself I am presuming is made of aluminium with a frosted lid and a shiny tube. The top of the lid has the lancome rose symbol on the top, a picture frame shape with the words rouge in love at the front, the words Lancome etched twice around the base of the tube as well as a stitching pattern down the back of the lid which reminds me of the ladies stockings of the golden days of movies which have stitching down the back of the legs.
The lid itself clicks firmly into place therefore you shouldn't have any issues with having the lid fall off in your bag.
As for application the lipstick is quite smooth and creamy therefore it just glides onto my lips. It has a subtle old world rose scent which is in no way off putting for this lipstick.
Colour intensity is medium, which is buildable and has a lovely satin type finish. You can also experiment with the colour by using a different colour lip liner underneath.
After you apply the lipstick wait at least 10 minutes for it to set fully before drinking or else the colour will come off right away but after the colour has set even with talking and drinking the colour lasts about 5 hours easily.
I have fallen in love with this lipstick in regards to the fact that it is super comfortable to wear and the colour is gorgeous and I am going to continue to wear it daily until it is all gone and I will definitely consider buying another one even though it is $45 for 3.4g.
This product does deserve the 5 star rating it has received you can feel the quality of this product each time you use it.

I purchased this lipstick in 163M which I describe as a medium pink that I can wear every day as it leans a little red so it goes with just about any colour clothing.

The small silver tube is a great size as it slips easily into one's bag, It is very classy and the product is easy to apply - just twist the tube and it glides on easily on the lips. One coat is enough for full coverage. It is creamy and feels luscious with a reasonable amount of gloss that appeals to me in a lipstick. My lips feel moisturised and the colour stays put for quite some time.

I am delighted with this lipstick as it is a good go to lipstick for every day for me.

The colour I trialled this lipstick in was 379N Rose Sulfureuse which is a very wearable vibrant purpley pink.

The lipstick comes in a classy silver tube. It is your standard tried and tested lipstick tube with the twist up action so super easy to use and convenient for carrying in your handbag.

When I first received this lipstick it was late in the afternoon but I was so excited to trial it that I took it for a test drive straight away. The first thing I noticed was how smooth it felt when I applied it. It just glided over my lips. I applied it straight from the tube (ie I didn't use a brush to apply it) and it just slipped beautifully over my lips. Once on it felt completely light, in fact it was easy to forget that I was wearing it. My lips were left feeling soft and conditioned. There was no stickiness or really any feeling of something being on the lips.

After the lipstick had been applied I had dinner and whilst this did remove some of the colour, surprisingly the majority remained. It was as if my lips had been stained. I didn't actually remove the lipstick before bed and the next morning there was still plenty of colour left. I trialled it again during the day and found that the colour easily lasted 6 hours, as claimed, although eating and drinking did remove some of it so there were days where I felt the need to touch up in less than 6 hours, though this was always after I had a tea or coffee.

The colour I tried really compliment me and lifted my whole look. It was genuinely a pleasure to wear with the majority of the time me forgetting I was wearing it until I'd go to the bathroom and see my beautiful bright lips. I tend to wear tinted gloss more than lipstick so for this to feel so comfortable on really surprised me.

I will definitely purchase this again in other colours as it really was such a pleasure to wear. If you are someone who gates constantly having to reapply your lipstick as it has vanished, or you hate the heavy feel if lipstick then this one is perfect for you as it feels so light on yet is really long wearing.

I was lucky enough to trial this lipstick from Lancome. I tried the Corail in Love (322M) and I am very impressed with the packaging which is a nice silver tube with the Lancome's signature emblem embossed on it.
The lipstick tube actually feels a bit heavier and screams out the quality of a product.
The colour itself is very gorgeous perfect for the summer and I think it can suit all the skin tones.
The texture of the lipstick is very creamy and it just glides like a dream. The colour is very wearable and moisturising enough, it doesn't make my lips dry at all like some other lipsticks.
One thing that I like the most about this lipstick is that it doesn't have lipstick smell that puts me off alot of time.
The colour is very wearable and can just brightens up the whole face.
The colour is very pigmented and one swipe is enough but it didn't last for the whole 6 hours for me and as soon as I eat or drink something I had to reapply the lipstick and that's the only drawback I guess together with the price ofcourse.
I think it's a bit pricey for my budget but given the quality of the product I would definitly buy more colours in this range as its a little luxury in the lipstick tube.. :)

For my first ever Lancome lipstick I would say this one smashed it right out of the ball park!

I have this colour in 159B which is a brilliant red colour... let me just say right now that EVERY GIRL must own a decent red lipstick in their collection!! This colour is just perfect for that!

Firstly I will start with the packaging... I love it! I straight away knew this was going to be a special product when I felt how heavy (compared to other lipsticks) it was. When you feel a good, solid tube you know its going to last in your hand bag and be able to take a beating while still staying strong and providing you with touch-ups whenever necessary.
The use- I prefer to use a lip brush to apply my lipsticks as you can be more precise and build up the colour as much or as little as you like. This lipstick goes quite dewy when warmed and in use so you can get an even spread of colour without having to rush before the product dries out.
Wear- The colour will stain your lips and actually fade into your lips to a softer colour then what you see in the tube. This colour I have actually fades to a red lip that can easily be worn both day and night.
Lastingness- I would say you can get a solid 2-3 hours out of one application but 6 hours in one swipe is far too ambitious. I did need to reapply and when eating and drinking you it does wear off in the middle so be careful of having a ring of colour around your lips.

Overall, GREAT lipstick and I definitely want more colours to see how they go.
