When a supermodel (and swimsuit model) walks into a room, you kinda assume she steals the show, right?
Well colour me surprised when I came across the beauty looks from the UK premiere of The Other Woman and discovered that the drop-dead gorgeous Kate Upton was completely upstaged by her co-stars Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann.
Don’t get me wrong – I think Kate looks beautiful. Her make-up is classic and elegant. It’s just that it feels…well…a little unbalanced. While the top of her face is quite dark, when you take into account her roots, bold brows, and heavy-winged liner, the bottom half of her face just doesn’t quite measure up. Rather than opting for a neutral colour on her lips, a glossy lip would have been the perfect way for Kate to finish this look.
When you look at Cameron and Leslie, both in their early forties, they have done beautiful jobs to enhance their features. The pop of colour on their lips works like a charm with their eye looks – their make-up all works flawlessly.
So sure, Leslie and Cameron may be sporting a few more wrinkles than the 21-year-old model, but it seems like they’ve learnt a thing or two more than her when it comes to nailing a red carpet make-up look.
