We loved the peachy-keen look on display at Jayson Brunsdon so we spoke to MAC’s International Director of Artistry, Nadine Luke, about the inspiration and the how-to.
“Jason’s clothes are so glamorous, the way they move, the way they flow, they just scream glamour, glamour, glamour.” We second that Nadine.
“Like the clothes, the products we used make statements, but the subtleties are still there. The products have been used delicately. Like MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, for example. You almost can’t see it but you can feel its presence as it accentuates the lashes for a fuller, voluminous look.”

To recreate the luminous glow, we asked Luke to walk us through the skin, step by step:

1.    On the high planes of the cheeks and as a base for the eyes we used MAC Cream Colour Base in Hush.

2.    We followed this with a combination of MAC Eye Shadow in Naked Lunch and MAC Iredescent Loose Powder in Silver Dust. (Silver Dust was used over the top.)

3.    These two were also gently dusted on the bridge of the nose and cupids bow, anywhere that caught the light to really get that iridescent glow.

4.    Then MAC Powder Blush in Peaches was blended into the high planes of the cheeks, it warms them up beautifully.

5.    We then applied mascara using the MAC 205 Mascara Fan Brush to separate lashes and ensure there are no clumps. It’s a great tool; it really allows you to get up close and personal without making a mess of it!
