How to wear blue and green eye make-up

The warmer months always make me crave a holiday in paradise, swimming by day and sipping cocktails by night. But not all of us have the time to jet off to a remote island, so if you can’t go to the tropics, bring those summer vibes to you – in beauty form, of course! To celebrate the sunny season, make-up brand Mary Kay has launched the Limited Edition Paradise Calling Collection. The collection sees the addition of eight products to the range, including three new lip lacquer shades, three on-trend whipped eye colours, a refreshing moisturising spray lotion, and a gorgeous bamboo-look tote to house all your goodies.Along with the new range, the brand has released three gorgeous and vibrant beauty looks as inspiration, with each incorporating some of the new limited-edition products. We just had to share our fave look from the collection. It’s called Jungle Escape, and we’re sure you’ll fall head over heels for it, too…

Mary Kay make-up trend we love: Jungle Escape

With seafoam green accents on the eyes and nails, sharp feline flicks of eyeliner, golden cheeks and a sheer nude lip, this look is the epitome of bright and breezy beauty.Recreate it for yourself using the following Mary Kay products:- NEW Limited Edition Whipped Eye Colors in Seafoam and Lagoon- Mineral Eye Color in Crystalline- Eyeliner in Dark Denim- Lash Love™ Mascara in I ♡ Black- Mineral Cheek Color in Golden Copper- Lip Liner in Neutral- NEW Limited Edition Lacquered Lip Shine in Tropical Mandarin
Once you’ve nailed the make-up, why not try your hand at the effortlessly cool topknot to match? Here’s how to do it:

Step 1.

Create a loose ponytail on the top of your head.

Step 2.

Divide the ponytail into two sections and twist into a rope braid, securing at the end.

Step 3.

Wrap the braid around the base of your hair elastic and secure with bobby pins, an elastic or a trendy scarf!Top tip: Pair your summery hair and make-up with a statement outfit, like a halter or crisscross top and a printed sarong. Channel the tropics with a scarf featuring a palm tree print, then layer some bronze necklaces and throw on a pair of leather sandals. Now, where’s that cocktail?
Do you like the Mary Kay Jungle Escape make-up look? What is your go-to look for spring?
