If you’re a beautyheaven member, odds are you always strive to look your best, and date night is certainly no exception. But with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it makes sense to come up with a brand new hair and beauty look that’s sure to rock his socks.
And where better to get inspiration on the prettiest hair and make-up looks than Hollywood’s hottest starlets? We nicked four of our favourite looks and have provided you with the how-tos so that you can ensure you look positively delicious on date night…
Look #2: Milkmaid braid with Dianna Agron
Ensure you look both sexy and adorable this Valentine’s Day with a hair look that will turn up the heat, make you feel beautiful and leave your special someone thinking you’re one cute clever clogs indeed.
– Start by prepping your day old hair with a hair product that will add grit, like De Lorenzo Elements Sandstorm Dry Texture Spray. We love it because it provides a matte, dry look that doesn’t skimp on volume.
– Part your hair down the middle and, using a wide-barrelled curling tong (like VS Sassoon Ceramic Instant Heat Tong– 38mm), add slight waves to your whole head. Hint: wrap hair around the tong for just a few seconds so your waves aren’t too defined.
– Next, gently brush out your waves using a boar bristle brush to ensure your hair appears a little wild. We like Lady Jayne 100% Boar Bristle Brush because it stimulates your scalp as you brush.
– Leave loose a section of hair (thick enough to braid) just above your ear. Scoop the rest of your hair back into a messy bun and secure with bobby pins.
– Fishtail braid the loose section of hair and fasten with a clear elastic.
– To finish, pull your fishtail braid over the top of your head towards your left ear. Hide the end of the braid amongst your hair and secure with a bobby pin. Be sure to use Scunci Grooming Mini Bobby Pins as they’re less likely to be noticed.
