Wax lyrical: scent-sational buys, wants for our Wish List and colour crazy

Yes, it’s the time of giving but when you’re all shopped out (spending big on loved ones takes it out of you) you need a little treat to perk you up and send you on your merry way. Here’s a glimpse at what the bh team has been splashing out on this week…
“I recently bought the prettiest shade of nail polish that I have ever seen. O.P.I. A True Aboriginal – a beautiful coral colour that makes me feel like summer has really arrived! It looks fab on fingers and toes and goes with absolutely everything in your wardrobe. Even my mum loves it (well she has been wearing it for years). It costs me $19.95 from David Jones.” – bh’s Di
“I recently bought one of the new fragrances from D&G’s Anthology collection. The range consists of five fragrances all named after tarot cards. L’Imperatrice 3: The Empress was my pick: it is a kind of gorgeous, unusual scent that I haven’t come across before. I love most fragrances, and still get excited when something new comes along - (cue the new Kate Moss), but this was different, I had to have it. I have to say it’s a little on the sweet side, but that’s probably down to the fruity notes, major players being watermelon, kiwi, pink cyclamen and musk. So far it’s the favourite of everyone I’ve spoken to.” – bh’s Olivia
One for my Wish list – MAC Select SPF 15 Moistureblend. I’m in desperate need of a decent foundation, which is not liquid. I hope Santa logs onto beautyheaven! – bh’s Natalie
“I haven’t splashed out yet because I’m hoping my better half will read this and go buy it for me for Christmas (are you listening?). I want Angel Innocent perfume (because I am, hehe). I love, love, love this scent – it’s good enough to eat! They always have some really lovely Christmas gift sets on counter at David Jones, and I’ve just run out! – bh’s Laina

I just got the new Studio Secrets Mattifying Primer, and it really did 'mattify' me! I was at an outdoor party last night, very humid and warm, drinking champagne . . and I didn't get shiny :-)

Laina I love Angel Innocent! I've had it for years now :o) I'm using my Biotherm Lait de Douche shower milk, which I bought recently. It has a beautiful fragrance and leaves the skin feeling soft and silky!
