5 beauty gurus to keep on your radar

If you’re reading this, then it’s fair to assume that you’re obsessed with all things beauty. While we might be (a fabulous) one-stop shop for all your beauty needs, it’s nice to throw a little variety in the mix sometimes.
So get ready to be inspired by these bloggers, vloggers and social media queens – because they’re the beauty gurus you need to keep on your radar. Trust us.
#1 GRITTYpretty
What is it?
Much like beautyheaven, GRITTYpretty is a website dedicated to beauty. Founded by Australian beauty editor Eleanor Pendleton, the site lets you in on the latest beauty trends, techniques, products and innovations, complete with how-tos.

The best part?
The just-launched interactive online magazine, which is set to come out every season. The images alone make us swoon (and top up our various beauty carts). Pretty cool, huh?
Where can I find it?
The website is where the magic happens, but it also has a strong social media presence – Instagram (@gritty_pretty), Facebook (Gritty Pretty) and Twitter (@GrittyPrettyEd).
Here at the bh office, we’ve got a bit of a girl crush on Pendleton, so can we suggest you follow her on Instagram (@eleanorpendleton), too?
#2 Chloe Morello

Who is she?
Chloe Morello is an Australian vlogger who guides legions of fans on going from bare-faced to glam via step-by-step – and actually doable! – YouTube tutorials. She covers make-up, hair and a little bit of fashion. With more than 900,000 subscribers, it’s safe to say she knows what she’s talking about.
The best part?
Although we’re obsessed with her Hollywood make-up tutorials, her Halloween make-up is something special. She shows you how to create a ripped skin facial injury from start to finish. Yes, really!
Where can I find her?
Check out her YouTube channel (Chloe Morello) for hundreds of how-tos, make-up looks and interviews. Her Instagram (@chloemorello) offers an insight into her favourite products, so it’s a great one to check out before your next trip down the beauty aisle.
#3 Zoe Foster Blake

Who is she?
Zoe Foster Blake is an all-round beauty guru. No question. The beauty-editor-turned-author-turned-skin-care-line-founder knows pretty much everything there is to know about beauty. We’ve bookmarked her blog for its sound advice and pretty pictures, and are huge fans of her new, no-fuss skin care line.
The best part?
I can’t rave about her skin care range enough (try the Exceptionoil, ASAP), but the very best thing about Zoe Foster Blake is her sense of humour. She’s just too darn funny.
Where can I find her?
To add to your beauty IQ, visit her website, and to learn more about her awesome skincare line, check out Go-To. Finally, to understand what I’m talking about when I say she’s hilarious, follow her on Instagram (@zotheysay).
#4 bellaMUMMA
What is it?
bellaMUMMA is a beauty and lifestyle website “that covers everything beauty-full in life” – and we can’t argue with that! While the site’s main focus is beauty – it’s packed with how-tos, inspiration and the latest trends – it also covers home life, travel and health and wellbeing. Oh, and it runs awesome giveaways all the time, too.
The best part?
The ‘Glow and Tell’ series – a series of interviews with successful Aussies (think designers, brand founders and bloggers) about their beauty tips and must-have products. Because, who doesn’t want to steal tricks from those in the public eye?
Where can I find it?
Visit the bellaMUMMA website first. Then, head to its Pinterest (@bellamumma) and Instagram (@bellamumma) for amazing visual inspiration and Facebook (bellaMUMMA) to stay up to date with everything on the site.
#5 Into The Gloss

What is it?
The only international guru that made the cut, Into The Gloss is a phenomenal beauty website. It’s brimming with interviews (Gigi Hadid, Elle Macpherson and Jaime King, to name a few), up-to-date information about the latest trends, tried-and-tested products and advice.
The best part?
It’s a tough call, but probably the site’s skincare range, Glossier (you can access it through the site). With four must-have products –a face mist, priming moisturiser, skin balm and tint – it will help you get your glow on. Plus, the pretty pink packaging is just too cute.
Where can I find it?
Head to the site by clicking here. And, if you’re always in the mood to be inspired, you just have to follow these US beauties on Instagram (@intothegloss).
Who are your beauty inspirations? Do you follow any of these gurus already?

I have never heard of any of these ladies. The before and after shots are good to see. Also, I would love to be a contender for being a beauty blogger as I certainly have the before shot, but just haven't got the technique or know how on how to transform completely to the after shot. Yes, being well past 60 makes this quite a challenge without looking like a 'clown'.

I don't really have the time or energy to be a member or follower of another site. I'm quite happy with BH.

I am already a huge Zoe Foster-Blake fan but now I have a few more to add to my list. I also love Jaclyn Hill and Pixiwoo from Youtube, I spend far too much time watching their videos!

I've never heard of any of these - mind you, I don't really have time to search the internet for beauty sites and I'm really happy with Beautyheaven so I'll just be hanging around here! ; )

I like Chloe Morello. Recently subscribed to gritty pretty but I personally find it reads and feels like a magazine of the Vogue/Harpers kind. Sad that internationally the Pixiwoos didn't get a mention. They are independent, do a wide variety of videos, professional, personable and fun.
