Perfect match

During a recent spree at the sales, my girlfriend shocked me right out of my very new, shiny boots. She revealed to me she’s been wearing the same foundation for more than 10 years. Now I know we all have a deep and meaningful relationship with our foundation, but the same one and only?
Foundation, like your favourite jeans, should be a perfect fit, a second skin. My fave jeans make me feel and look fabulous, but the thing is I have several favourite pairs depending on how I feel, the occasion or season. And the same goes with my foundation, since I have several on the go all year round.
My daily foundations consist of lightweight L’Oreal Paris Ideal Balance Balancing Foundation, Lancôme Photogenic Luminessence SPF12 and Clinique Supermoisture Makeup, an oil-based foundation that is handy during winter dry spells. For special occasions meanwhile, I love Chanel Teint Innocence Fluid Makeup SPF12 as it turns my skin into a radiant silk.
Like shopping for jeans, you have to be in the mood to go in search of a new foundation, because finding your perfect match is imperative. Always test the colour in daylight and make sure you choose one that is right for your skin type.
Now just like a pair of jeans, they don’t all have to be designer. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Sass and Bide and Seven pairs, but my Target favorites get all the compliments. It can be the same with foundation, too. Revlon, Maybelline, L’Oreal and Covergirl all do a great job at a small price. Which makes the decision to bag more than one foundation less of a worry for the wallet.
If you need extra help, a trip to the beauty counters at DJ’s and Myer are always great fun, and the beauty consultants are experts at finding your perfect match. If you’re still not sure about making the move to a new foundation, most of the counters like Clinique, Bobbi Brown and Estee Lauder will give you a sample so you can take it home and get a feel for it.
Have fun shopping. Just like shoes, bags and jeans, a girl can never have enough make-up!
Have you found your perfect match yet?

What a wonderful and a straight forward spell caster that has brought back joy and happiness into my life! Am giving this testimony because am so happy, I want to thank Dr. Osasu for the great thing He has done in my life , He brought happiness back to my life, I never believed in spell casters until my life fell apart when my lover of 6 years decided to call it quit almost when we wanted to get married. I was so emotional breakdown to the extent i could not do anything reasonable again, after 2months in pain before an old friend of mine introduced me to a spell caster on line called Dr Osasu, this was after I have been scammed by various fake spell casters. I was introduced me to Dr Osasu a true Spell Caster. In less than 24 hours i saw wonders, my lover came back to me and my life got back just like a completed puzzle, and after 1month later we got married and it was just like a dream to me because i thought i had lost him forever. Thank you Dr. Osasu for helping me but most of all, Your Honesty and Fast Accurate Results. email: Drosasu25@gmail.com WhatsApp Number: +2347064365391

I would get too bored using the same foundation for ten years. I love to keep trying new products.

I havent found the perfect match yet. Im borderline medium and light but with very yellow undertones. Even mac isnt an exact match for me. The closest Ive come to is an Estee Lauder foundation which is almost pefrect but just a touch too dark.

I'm too much of a cosmetic junkie to settle on only one :)

Disagree about needing more pairs of jeans and foundations. My favorite jeans are appropriate for all occasions - I can't think of 1 where they wouldn't be. Same with my foundation. The only change I make is when I don't want to have so much difficulty in removing it - I wear mineral makeup instead of my staple Colorstay.

Because there are so many brands to choose from, I like to try different make up. Maybelline has been my favourite product so far, seems to match my skin's quirky nature..........###Sandra

Claudia, it's amazing to find your friend wearing the same foundation after 10 years when there is now so much variety and so many new textures available. I would like to recommend two other foundations: Chanel Vitalumiere fluid foundation SPF 15 $82.00 Clinique Dewy Smooth fluid foundation $48.00

I found my perfect match in an Australis cream compact. Its so reliable, relatively cheap and perfect colour and texture for me. Yipee :)

i tried maybelline pre, but it was way too white for my colour and they did't have a middle colour... :( so now i use everyday minerals. i love it! not heavy at all, and its great for those days of speedy makeup mornings.

I've found quite a few good foundations, but changing skin tones etc etc give me quite a good turnover :] Have two on the go at the moment, L'Oreal and Maybelline. xx

I'm still on the search for a good foundation that will feel, as you say, like a second skin.i'm very pale and sensitive which makes finding a good foundation a bit hard.though i really want to try mineral foundation, it looks like the foundation i've been searching for all this time
