We say:

Nude by Nature is Australia’s number one mineral makeup brand. Loved for being more than just a cosmetic, Nude by Nature’s range is formulated with natural, powerful skin-nourishing ingredients like kakadu plum and vitamin E.

Nude by Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation is the Natural Mineral Cover reimagined with a new look and feel. Enriched with jojoba esters and kaolin clay, this feather-light formula will naturally adapt to your skin tone while covering redness, pigmentation and concealing enlarged pores.

Trial Team members loved the sheen finish of this SPF15+ powder foundation as they found it provided adequate coverage of blemishes and uneven skin tone, while still allowing their natural texture to shine through.

For those who favoured a fuller coverage foundation, this product was easy to build, without becoming too thick or cakey.

While the powder was an instant hit with those on the oilier side, members with dry skin expressed hesitation as similar formulas have clung to their drier spots in the past. However, Nude by Nature’s formula was praised for blending flawlessly with the help of the fluffy brush for an easy and quick application.

Nude by Nature Translucent Loose Finishing Powder will help to control shine while setting your makeup with a matte finish. Suited for dull complexions, the vitamin C rich formula will instantly brighten while also setting and extending makeup wear. A common theme amongst Trial Team member feedback was the velvety, soft finish left behind from the natural, loose powder.

Thanks to the mesh cover which sits over the powder, members praised the product for being mess-free and easy to control, a feature they had not found in competing loose powder products.

Trial Team participants appreciated how easy the product was to use, as it blended seamlessly with minimal effort, and left their skin looking flawless all day with only a few touch ups required for those who described their t-zones as being on the ‘very’ oily side.

Those who had not typically used a finishing powder in their makeup regime appreciated the gentle air brushing effect it left, particularly under their eyes and across the bridge of the nose, voicing they would continue to use this product following the trial.

Nude by Nature Mineral Brush uses tightly packed, ultra-soft bristles to deliver the perfect amount of powder product to create a flawless finish.

From the initial application, Trial Team members felt the brush handle was sturdy enough that it was comfortable to hold, yet still small enough to easily fit into a makeup bag or a handbag for touch ups on the run.

Described as an ideal choice for all mineral or powder products, the brush bristles were firm enough to contour and collect a sufficient amount of powder while still being soft to the touch.

Trial Team members referred to this brush as a ‘game changer’, crediting it for a smooth, natural finish that requires little effort in the application.

  1. Whilst I liked the formula of this powder foundation, I couldn’t get a good colour match from the available shades (even with the new shade range). Then I realised how simple the formula was (check the ingredients list) and that I could just add a little bit of cosmetic grade yellow iron oxide powder to adjust the shade a little for my skintone. Works a treat!

Basically the colour is a mix of yellow, red and brown iron oxides. Since the foundation is just powder and has no water, there’s no danger in doing this in terms of upsetting the overall formula.

  2. I used the original powder foundation years ago, so I might give this new variation a go. The only thing I don’t like about loose mineral powder foundation is how messy it can be.
