Meghan Markle is officially married to Prince Harry! The Royal Wedding took place at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19. In true Meghan fashion, the now Duchess of Sussex kept her bridal makeup understated, natural and beautiful.

We’ve broken down Meghan’s bridal makeup, hair and manicure here…

The makeup

Initially, it was believed Meghan would be doing her own makeup for the wedding. But Meghan’s friend, celebrity makeup artist Daniel Martin was the one that ultimately created the look.

“Meghan’s personal style is very chic, very sophisticated, but still very understated,” Daniel explained. “I think her style will translate to her wedding day, [it] will be very sophisticated, modern,” he told ABC’s 20/20 ahead of the wedding.

And he certainly hit the nail on the head! Meghan’s makeup was simple and stunning.

She had slightly flushed, peachy-pink cheeks and a soft shade of pink on her lips. Her brows were strong and dark and her lashes full and fluttery. She also had a subtle smoky eye and taupe shadow on her lids.

But it was Meghan’s fresh, dewy and luminous skin, with her signature freckles peeking through that really stole the show.

If you want a natural and dewy complexion like Meghan’s, beautyheaven loves the Nutrimetics nc Beauty Veil Liquid Foundation or INNOXA Hydrating Hydroboost Foundation.

The hair

Hairstylist Serge Normant was the man behind Meghan’s wedding hair. She wore it in a low bun with a centre part and had loose tendrils around her face and tucked behind her ears. We love that the style was a little casual for a royal wedding (Serge has since referred to the look as “messy in a controlled way”) but still very elegant.  And of course, there was that bandeau tiara borrowed from the Queen!

The nails

Meghan kept her nails short, neat and round. They were a classic pale shade of pink that we’re betting was the Queen’s fave polish, essie Ballet Slippers.
