Struggling to achieve a flawless base for your make-up? Tired of seeing your pores even after you’ve applied your foundation? Sick of your make-up doing a disappearing act halfway through the day?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, it sounds like you’re missing a vital step in your make-up application. A step that can take your make-up from mediocre to ah-mazing – and who wouldn’t want in on that?!
Introducing new L’Oreal Paris Base Magique Transforming Smoothing Primer, a skin primer that’s formulated with a high concentration of elastomers to instantly smooth your pores and erase the appearance of fine lines, allowing you to achieve a flawless make-up look that actually lasts!
The skin smoothing primer also contains soft powders to help absorb excess oil and reduce shine (bye-bye afternoon oil slick!), as well as silicon oil to allow for easy application without any greasy residue.
Apply Base Magique before your foundation and see what a difference it makes to your look (caution: your friends might think you’ve hired your own personal make-up artist!).

"I have been experimenting with primers for a good 5 years now & I have to say that I hadn’t yet found any of them ‘good’ & in fact had been beginning to think they were simply a marketing ploy designed to entice us to buy yet ANOTHER beauty product. However I now (happily) stand corrected! This primer DOES work & it has made a noticeable difference to my makeup...I tried the primer with both Estee Lauder Double Wear & also Clinique Laser Repair [foundation]. Both resulted in a beautiful, poreless base, that I am absolutely thrilled with. Also I used this on quite hot & humid days at 6:30am & on return at 6pm, there was some very slight oiliness on the T-zone, but my make up was still great, no melting! I do need to put in a disclaimer that while I have just celebrated my 30th birthday (gulp), I have yet to see any lines on my face, so while I can attest to the fact that makes my very visible pores disappear, I can’t say how it goes on wrinkles." - mmmm
"If you have never used a primer before you will notice the difference, especially in photos! It gives your skin the appearance of being smoother and more uniform by "filling in" pores and creating a more even surface. It's true that it gives your foundation something to adhere to so it will wear much longer than normal. I have slightly oily skin so I like the addition of powder which helps to soak up any natural oils from your skin or makeup during the day.I especially love the way it makes my eye makeup last longer and stops it from creeping too much into the eyelid creases which is never a good look on anyone...My one and only gripe with this is the rosey/pink hue, I'm always paranoid that it will give my olive skin an unusual rosy hue or clash with my foundation shade so I hope they come out with a golden version one day which would be lovely!! Having said that I believe it does give a natural look and never leaves a white cast. I was very pleased with this and would definitely re-purchase again." Beautylicious
