Is there a worse cycle to be stuck in than when you’ve had a break out, so you desperately try and cover every last remaining red spot with concealer and foundation, only to have this irritate and congest skin even further?
It doesn’t matter if you’re dealing with a one-off bump or are fighting cystic acne, there is no debating that the wrong formulation of cover-up makeup can inflame anyone’s skin.
Although the best solution is to allow your skin to breathe, it is totally understandable that certain situations call for a bit of a glam up.
And if you feel self-conscious about your breakouts, then you absolutely should have the right to cover them up and not suffer any consequences the next day.
Here is our round up of the foundations and concealers formulated specifically to cover breakouts, as well as heal your skin underneath in the process.
Clinique – Even Even Better Refresh™ Hydrating and Repairing Makeup
IT Cosmetics – Bye Bye Breakout Full Treatment Concealer
COVER FX – Custom Cover Drops
Kosas – Tinted Face Oil

It's nice that make-up products are incorporating some ingredients for skin health. I would usually rely on skincare to do that but it doesn't hurt to have more I guess!
I wonder if the colours of the Clinique Even Better Refresh match up exactly with the colours in the other Clinique Even Better Foundation range? Or do they differ?
I prefer to rely on skin care ingredients from skin care products rather than from makeup. Having said that, I can see how some of the products in this article might benefit someone with acne (which I do not have).
The Nude by Nature Flawless is a great concealer with amazing coverage.

When wearing makeup, it is super minimal. So have no issues from it. And it is selected one only.

Kosas' one sounds good. I prefer natural ingredients for my sensitive skin. Nude by Nature's concealer might be a more affordable choice.
