    9 Black beauty creators to follow for amazing content

    The beauty industry has come a long way in terms of representing people of colour.

    And while there’s still a way to go, brands like Fenty Beauty and Pat McGrath Labs are helping to amplify the need for inclusivity and diversity not only in products, but campaigns and brand messaging too.

    Some of the most influential voices in bringing about this welcomed and much needed industry shift are also those of beauty creators.  

    Platforms like YouTube, Instagram and Podcasts, have given these beauty creators a voice, and we’re listening.

    I'm actually surprised so few of us are drawn in by influencers. Fingers crossed the influencer craze is on the decline. I do enjoy good content though, I just loathe the concept of influencers.

    I only check out content when I'm looking up reviews etc these days. I used to follow influencers content but no everything they put out is relevant to me.

    I used to watch influencers but they actually annoy me now because they all seem to follow the same style. I prefer to just experiment myself.

    Do not follow influencers. For skincare tried and tested I watch one youtuber. But use what my skin likes and needs. Makeup... rarely using, so that cancels out gurus in that department.

    Don't follow influencers at all never have been into doing so only ever look at something that I might be interested in and then a influencer might come up regarding makeup or hair.

    Occasionally I'll check out a Youtube vid of a colour I may be checking out to buy - that is about as far as I go with watching any influencers atm.

    Yeh I don't have time for much more than that - rarely I may target some youtube videos if I'm looking for a specific colour of, say, a lippy to see how it looks before I buy it but that's about as far as I go (and I really don't remember who they are or their names!).
