Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation Reviews

I purchased this foundation after finding out Lisa Eldridge loves it. I have slightly dry skin and I find this foundation is excellent for it, because it is gel based. The coverage is light-medium and very natural looking with a natural glow. It applies easily and blends nicely. It helps make my skin look glowy and awake. It lasts all day on my skin and doesn't look oily.

If you haven't tried a Bourjois foundation before, you are missing out! They are not only fantastic quality, but are also really affordable.

The foundation is good for building up coverage, so you can either have light coverage for days when you want a no make up look. Or you can build up the colour for those days when you need a little bit more coverage when your skin isn't looking so flawless, just apply a concealer to hide blemishes. It is a really light feel on the skin, and you forget that you are wearing it. It also has a nice scent!

No matter how you apply it, whether it's with your fingers, sponge or brush, you will get flawless coverage. It melts easily into the skin and you don't need much. 1 pump is more than enough for your whole face, so it lasts a long time.

It reminds me of a Chanel foundation! Just a third of the price! But it has the same quality of one.

Bourjois have a great colour selection for lighter skin, but you may struggle to find a colour if you have darker skin.

This foundation is amazing i have lots of sun spots on my face and this really covers them up without being to thick and glunky... simple elegance for my face..

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation is my current favourite foundation. If you want healthy, glowing skin in an instant, this foundation delivers it. Light on the skin with a silky, light gel texture, it buffs and blends beautifully into the skin resulting in the perfect balance between dewy and matte.

Bourjois claim the vitamin-rich fruit therapy formula gives skin a radiance boost, evens complexion and has an instant anti-fatigue result, and I'd have to agree. When I want luminous, natural looking makeup, this is the foundation I use.

The packaging is another plus point. The glass-like bottle (although it's plastic), makes it appear more up-market and the pump is ideal for dispersing just the right amount of product, meaning no spillage or wastage. This foundation isn't especially long lasting on myself - but I use it with primer and set with powder as I have an oily t-zone and it lasts a good 9 hours. In terms of coverage it's light-medium, so I'd say it's better for use on good skin days as it won't conceal any skin problems but coverage is easily buildable. I have the shade 52 which is a good match.

I often find drugstore foundations can be more on the pink side of the skin tone spectrum but fortunately Bourjois seem to cater for the warmer skin tones. Overall a fantastic foundation and one to rival the likes of the designer cosmetics!

I love this! The smell is great and fresh at the start of the day and the list of antioxidants makes me happy :) The pump bottle delivers the perfect amount and while it is a bit pricey, it lasts a very long time! It is a stay-put formula thanks to the gel and I havent had a problem with it yet. It doesnt go orange which is great and there is no mask effect. It has a great natural dewey finish which I love for summer. Will be repurchasing! Use a base moisturiser or primer for a perfect dewey complexion.

blends in perfectly on its own, no need to overdo blending. coverage is even and even covers red areas and blemishes.

I recently bought this last week from priceline because it's 20% off and also because I read a lot of good reviews on the older version of healthy mix. I bought this one because it says on the poster that it will give your skin a radiance in a few weeks. I am using this foundation for almost a week now and I love it!!! I love the coverage which is light. I cannot even feel that I have foundation on my face. Although it did not really cover my blemishes, it's okay because I used concealer to cover them up. I just really love the dewy finish that it gives me :) It's not so dewy that looks oily, it's more of a natural dewy look. I used 53 shade and it matches my skin tone. I really recommend this product! Anyway I have combo/dry skin.

After using the other Healthy Mix foundation I thought i'd give this one a go. The coverage is definitely lighter then the non-gel version. However I find this stuff looks so natural you really can't tell i'm wearing foundation unless I pile the stuff on!

The colour also matches my difficult olive skin colour really well and doesn't turn orange on me like other foundations! The only downfall for me is that it gives that ghost face effects in photos I find. But for an every day foundation I think I have found my match.
