  1. I have a heap of lip balms – Natio, Burts Bees, Nivea, Dermal, Spa, Refinery – and I also use Weleda Skin Food, Paw Paw Ointment and Plunkettt's Vit E Oil. Plenty to choose from.

  2. Go to Lips! Lip balm is my new 'Go to' Lip Balm! I have tried Burts Bees Lip Balm , it is really good also, probs second best. The Carmex one I stopped using AGES ago after I found out it as petrolatum as an ingredient. And the La Roche Posay one I have it but not yet tried it ( I got it free with an Adore Beauty order)
But hands down, the Go-to Lips lip balm is the best lip balm for dry lips out there!

  3. I had tried unsuccessfully some different brands of Lip Balm. They all dried my lips instead of moisturising until I found Burt's Bees thanks to BH. I have the tinted one which is similar to my natural lip colour.

  4. I have three on rotation:
    – MOR Lip Macaron in Vanilla
(This one smells incredible, and makes you feel just that little bit more spesh. Leaves lips supremely soft)

    – Pure Alchemist Tinted Age Repair Treatment
(I put this one on religiously at night. And boy does it work! My lips are smooth and feel fabulous)

    – P'URE Papayacare
(This one is the one I use during the day when I need to. Great to keep up the good work the Pure Alchemist one does during the night)

I have used the Babylips one from Maybelline but I stopped using it because it just felt like it sat on top of my lips and wasn't too keen on the smell of them.

  5. My current favourite is Kiehl’s lip balm. I’ve got the cranberry flavour. It’s very soothing and moisturising. They also have a Butterstick Lip Treatment, which is a tinted lip balm/stick. I haven’t tried this one, as I’ve never been able to find the colour I want in stock.

  6. There are many good products on the market – the Burt's Bees is good, the Luca's Paw Paw is good, even the Body Shop and L'Occitane make a great one with Shea butter! I also bought a local maker's with organic Blueberry flavour…amazing!

  7. I'm going to have to try the La Roche Posay one. I hate heavy, sticky lip balms so this one sounds perfect. Also, for anyone suffering from cracked or super dry lips – fresh Aloe Vera straight from the plant is an incredible fix. I use it all the time at night and by morning my lips are healed and soft. Just not very convenient for carrying around in your handbag 🙂
