Lightweight powder and soft skin texture after use
The packaging for this product is the exact same as the mineral foundation- so would be better if they had some slight differences so I know what is what!
I expected the translucent powder to be white based on other similar products I've used in the past, but it's in fact a light cream (which again, makes it hard to differentiate from the mineral foundation!) which was surprising.
When I dipped the brush in, I got A LOT on the brush, (although I love the bowl shape that holds the powder as I find it prevents spillage). I had to then do a number of taps and loosing some powder in the sink- so a light hand is good with this one as you don't need much (as the instructions direct you to use it mainly on the t-zone).
Given the lightweight texture I went over my t-zone a few times, unable to really tell whether it was on my face or not!
After applying it, my skin felt smooth, and didn't feel clogged
Use a gentle hand when getting some on your brush!

Does the job but cheaper ones are just as good
Firstly, nude by nature has improved the packaging of their powders and I’m loving it.
The look of the packaging now lines up with the rest of their range with the rose gold lid, and it is quite pretty.
The inside of the lid now stops and loose powder from spilling into the lid and giving you a surprise when you open it next time. However the downside is the new internal soft netting allows too much product onto the bristles of your brush.
If you have combination or oily skin, or if you are in a humid climate the finishing powder will be an important purchase if you want the nude by nature foundations (both the liquid and the mineral powder) to have all day lasting powder, but for the price there are certainly other finishing or setting powders that do just as good at giving you long lasting makeup results but for far less

Truly translucent result
Thrilled to be chosen to review the Nude by Nature Translucent Loose Finishing Powder (complementing and finishing the Mineral Cover Foundation) with the Nude by Nature Finishing Brush
Translucent powder is kind of like your own real life photoshopping tool, blurring flaws if you will. I haven't used a translucent finishing powder for a long time, so I was pleasantly surprised by the difference it made to the overall look and finish of my make up.
After using it to finish of the Mineral Cover Foundation, I have to say I love them both, and I now have a new favourite staple in my beauty regime, I have been a liquid foundation advocate for too long, relying on them alone and quite obviously I have been missing out!
The powder is light goes on beautifully with the finishing brush and like the Mineral Cover Foundation the jar is a clever design ensuring when the lid is on that the powder stays in the container and therefore doesn't go everywhere when you open the lid. Perfect for travel. It's easy to control the amount on your brush and it applies smoothly and resulting in a beautiful finish on the skin. My make up looks natural, my skin looks smooth and glowing and it wears beautifully, I simply love these products and could not recommend them highly enough
What makes me even happier is Nude by Nature is an Australian Company and to be supporting and promoting their wonderful products is just the icing on the cake!
Anyone wanting a finishing powder that enhances your make up results!

lovely soft powder
I received my Nude by nature Translucent loose finishing powder and was so excited to give it a try! The packaging is very classy with it's rose gold lid. However it does mark easily with finger prints and the like. There is a little concave inside the container which the loose powder sits in. It makes it so much easier to distribute the powder evenly on your brush without it spilling all over the place.. so thats great. Using the nude by nature brush that I also received, I was able to apply it really easily and evenly. I did feel it looked a little flat, and I'm not too sure about the claims to disguise fine lines and wrinkles with light reflecting micro partickes. But that definitely would not deter me from using it again. It definitely did set my makeup and I think extended its staying power.
Overall I think its a great product that seems to be long lasting. Feels super soft and luxurious to apply. And I like that its fairly natural.
