3 nifty ways to use an eyeshadow palette

Think your eyeshadow palette it just good for, well, applying eyeshadow? The truth is, these beauties are actually sneaky multi-taskers, and perfect for more than just creating that smoky eye or sheer nude wash.
Read on to find out how to use your eyeshadow palette to take your look one step further, and save some pretty pennies at the same time!
TRICK #1: LINE YOUR WATERLINE
You’ve most likely heard of the benefits of lining your bottom waterline with a white or nude-coloured liner. Here’s a refresher: doing this makes you look more awake and creates the illusion of bigger peepers. Instead of investing in a lighter liner, save your hard-earned cash and use the white or creamy hue in your eyeshadow palette. Grab a flat-sided eyeshadow brush and simply tap one side into the eyeshadow, then gently press it along your waterline.
TRICK #2: FILL IN YOUR BROWS
If your eyeshadow palette features a matte shade similar to the colour of your brows, then you can use it to fill in those sparse spots. It’s essential for the shadow to be matte, as a satin shade will make your brows look shimmery and draw attention to imperfections. Apply the eyeshadow to a flat eyeshadow brush and lightly feather it in one direction along your eyebrow, filling in gaps as you go.
TRICK #3: DEFINE YOUR EYES
The beautiful brown and black hues in your palette are not only great for creating a smoky eye, they also double up as a liner to define your eyes. Using a flat eyeshadow brush, tap it in the darker hue and trace across your upper lash-line. Gently use the brush to blend the colour, and then apply your eyeshadow as normal.

I've been seeing vloggers use eye shadow on their water line. I am going to have to give it a go with eyeliner first. I am pretty bad at lining my eyes!

Great tips! Thank you! I have been defining my brows and waterline with eyeshadow for year now as I travel a lot and need to minimise the amount of cosmetics I pack

Palette looks devine! i want one!! I use my eyeshadow on my eyebrows just to make them a bit more even toned - my eyebrows are already pretty full anyway so I only do it on weekends or when I go out. I also use eyeshadow to contour my cheeks! works well ;)

Yes, it's multipurpose. However not every shade is great for every task. I would not use a sparkly shadow to do my brows...

I don't think that an eyeshadow would last on my waterline, but I might try it one day. I'd also be concerned about getting a speck of eyeshadow inside my eyes (I have unusually sensitive eyes at the moment). Apart from that, the EL eyeshadow palette looks great!
