Elizabeth Arden’s Lip Color delivers a creamy and high-pigment lipstick that’s been enriched with vitamin E and maracuja oil for conditioned, smooth and plump lips. Offering benefits that most lipsticks don’t, this luxurious formula (which is available in 30 gorgeous shades) doubles as an anti-ageing remedy, formulated to reduce the look of fine lip lines.

Prior to the Trial Team, many members had previously tried Elizabeth Arden and were incredibly fond of the products they’d used. However, most of their experiences with the brand had been through skin care rather than cosmetics.

From the moment the lipstick bullet was picked up by Trial Team members, there was collective praise as to how sleek and luxurious the packaging was. As for the formulation, lipstick enthusiasts reported it to be one of the best lipsticks they had ever used, with special mention of a long-lasting pigment that didn’t transfer or smudge.

Those who had previously avoided lipsticks due to dry lips were surprised at the formula’s lightweight and hydrating nature. The application was likened to a nourishing balm (thanks to the addition of shea butter) with the staying power of a lip stain. As for the final look? A full and hydrated pout. 

All in all, the premium quality of Elizabeth Arden’s Lip Color did not surprise any members of the Trial. The 50 women entered the reviewing process knowing that this was going to be a good quality product from a high-end brand, though they didn’t think they would become such lipstick converts so quickly. For some who had never worn a lipstick in their life, it quickly became a must-have addition to their handbag.

“The lipstick texture is creamy, nourishing and the finish was almost matte. I was surprised at how nourishing it was, my lips didn’t look cracked or dry in this Melbourne winter. It didn’t all come off when I had a drink, there was no need to reapply straight away like you need to with some other lipsticks.
