The Ordinary is launching cheap as chips concealers

If there’s one affordable beauty brand we all know and love, it’s The Ordinary.

Whether you’ve picked up one of the brand’s hyaluronic acid serums, rosehip oil or beloved niacinamide before, the single-ingredient and price-friendly products have certainly taken the skin care world by storm since its launch in 2016.

And now, adding to the brand’s ‘Colours’ line (which currently consists of foundations and primers) is a further foray into the makeup space: concealer.

Yep, The Ordinary’s brand new concealer is expected to become available via Deciem.com on the 19th January, 2021. What a way to start the year.

Boasting 36 shades, the formula is already promising high-spreadability and high coverage, but with a ‘real skin finish’. And, being a part of the faithfully fuss-free brand, it’s also made to be used however you like; whether it be under the eyes, applied with fingers or used to blend away imperfections.

But we know you’re all waiting for the best part… the price. Well, if you’ve got a spare tenner and can rummage for some change in the car, it’ll be all yours. $10.80 is all it takes.

No word yet as to when it will physically be in-store in Australia, but with the rest of the range stocked in Priceline and Deciem stores dotted around the country, we’re sure it will soon follow the online launch.

Can’t wait? Here are 5 budget-friendly concealers we love:

  1. essence camouflage+ matt concealer ($6)
  2. Models Prefer Argan Infusion Concealer ($9.99)
  3. NYX Professional Makeup HD Photogenic Concealer Wand ($9.95)
  4. MUD Flawless Finish Concealer ($7)
  5. Natio Natural Cover Concealer ($16.95)

Have you tried any The Ordinary products? What’s your favourite budget concealer?

I would expect the physical Deciem stores to have stock, but not Priceline as Priceline only stocks selected The Ordinary products and has never even stocked the foundations.

  2. My daughter gave me a bottle of “The ordinary” rosehip oil which I am using on my face and scars. Can’t comment too much yet as I am still waiting for the ‘results’
