I was looking for a new under-eye concealer to replace my current Maybelline age rewind concealer, and I decided to invest in something pricier which would hopefully provide better results.

And it did!

Firstly, the product itself just feels better! It applies super smoothly, and if you touch the area applied, it feels soft and natural.

Secondly, the beige option I bought suits my skin tone well (yellow undertones), and blends very easily. The Maybelline option just feels a bit rougher and has slightly pinker undertones.

Thirdly, the packaging is pretty awesome - it does take a lot of rotations of the applicator to get the product started, but once it does, it is very easy to rotate for more, and you feel quite in control of how much comes out.

Finally, the brush-like applicator end is really neat, smooths the product on easily and essentially does its job

I am very happy with this purchase, and I would encourage others to invest in something slightly pricier like this, as it does produce results!

This is an excellent concealer. It provides great coverage, does not crease under the eyes and stays put for a long period of time.

However I will not be repurchasing based on principle and my tiny wallet. The packaging is deceiving, you get so little product for the high price tag.

I feel both ripped off and thoroughly impressed at the same time. I won't get even two weeks out of this awesome product if used on a daily basis.

Another surprise from Max Factor. This pen is as illuminating as the 'famous pen from a french fashion house' but with better concealing powers.
The packaging is obviously not as luxurious but you can see how much product you have left and you don't have to click forever to get product. the product delivery is also consistent. The design makes placement of the concealer precise, although I use my ring finger or a brush to diffuse it into the skin.
It is great for light concealing and ideal as contouring highlight colour. Probably not the product for serious undereye circles or blemishes.

I love the packaging and the twist bottom to control the amount of product that comes out. You only need a tiny bit to cover up the darkest of under eye circles. I use this underneath my foundation, after a primer and it applies so smoothly. There isn't much product in the stick so it does run out quite quickly, but if you don't mind paying a bit extra then this product is great!

After all the rave reviews I've seen on here and in magazines, I gave in and bought this. I use the lightest shade and it matches me perfectly. I am actually amazed at how good this product is. It glides on nicely with the applicator (though I still use my pinky finger to blend it properly), and melts into my skin to be undectable whilst still banishing my dark circles... completely! After a few hours, still perfect! By the end of the day... still perfect! Amazing staying power! (I do set my face with a finishing powder.) I will probably be repurchasing this for the rest of my life haha.

One of my faves!! was easy to apply and covered all the redness and darkness under my eyes without creasing. Definatley recommend.

One of the best makeup products I have ever bought/trialled. The concealer is light and blends well with the skin without creasing or showing any obvious marks. It conceals puffiness, redness, acne, marks and basically just anything that needs concealing. Would recommend it to anyone, and the only negative is that I wish there was more in the stick - but I just went and bought another one anyway.

I consider this the holy grail of concealers!
It's well worth every cent! I tend to just use a concealer for dark circles under the eye and whenever i have a small imperfection.
This concealer has a great consistency, not too thick, not too runny, just creamy and so easy to blend. Unlike alot of concealers, it doesn't crease into my eyelids or the fine lines under my eyes. It does appear to be quite sheer at first, but is very easy to layer and never appears cakey. It does also last all day long which is great.
The only problem i find is the applicator, i find that it could transfer bacteria from pimples to other parts of your face, so i find it best to use a sponge or fingers to apply.

At first, I found that the concealer went into the tiny lines in my undereye area but when I applied less, it was fine. It blends very well too! I love the twisty bottom that limits how much you take out but for $22, you don't get much product.
