Make your pout count on Bright Pink Lipstick Day!

Make your pout count on Bright Pink Lipstick Day!

What better excuse to rock a bold lip than on Bright Pink Lipstick Day? Arguably one of our favourite charity campaigns (for obvious reasons), Pink Hope is asking women – and brave men – to pucker up and swipe on some pink lippie for Bright Pink Lipstick Day.

Now in its fourth year, the initiative aims to encourage Aussies to speak up and support families with breast and ovarian cancer. Pink Hope founder Krystal Barter says, “Investigating your family’s history of breast and ovarian cancer is the first step in determining your own level of risk when it comes to hereditary breast and ovarian health.” There are more than 240,000 Australians currently at risk, and around 90% of those women are unaware of the danger they’re in. These are statistics we need to work together to change.

Aussie supermodels Jessica and Ashley Hart are fronting the campaign for a second year, creating an exclusive hot pink lippie to help women to make their pouts count come September 25.

“The natural and exclusive Luma Cosmetics lipstick I have designed will see 100% of proceeds directed to Pink Hope,” says Jess.

Get your Pink Hope lipstick from www.lumacosmetics.com.au.

So, use your lips and create awareness for this incredibly worthy cause. Upload a picture of yourself wearing a bright pink lipstick on social media and don’t forget to use the hashtag #brightpinklipstickday. And most importantly, ask your friends and family to head to www.pinkhope.org.au to support the campaign.

Go on, get your pucker on.

What’s your favourite shade of pink lipstick? How will you be showing your support for Bright Pink Lipstick Day?
