Spotted: Beyoncé’s beauty picks in her 7/11 film clip

If there’s any celebrity beauty routine I would want to know, it’d have to be Beyoncé Knowles’. Her hair is always shiny, her skin flawless, her bod toned, her nails perfectly painted…well, you get the picture. She does wake up flawless after all.

The thing with celebrity beauty, though, is that sometimes the products my idols genuinely love (which I’d immediately race to Priceline/DJs/the ends of the earth to get my hands on) can be confused with the ones they’re paid to endorse.

But now, thanks to Queen Bey’s hot new music video for her song ‘7/11’, which was filmed on a hotel balcony, in the bathroom and down in the lobby, we’ve gotten an unprecedented glimpse into her real-life beauty cabinet.

Without further ado, here are four products we spotted:

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

With its unmistakeable pink and green packaging, this wonder mascara was impossible not to spot on Queen Bey’s vanity. It also comes in at number 10 on bh’s Liv’s list of 10 of the best: hero products.

L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray

Yep, this is Queen Bey’s secret weapon for taming those curls! Of course, this long-lasting hairspray already has serious cult status.

NARS blush, $39, 1800 007 844

Another cult beauty product, NARS’ blush is renowned for being universally flattering. Sadly though, it’s impossible to tell Queen Bey’s shade of choice from the video (my best guess is ‘Orgasm’).

Lubriderm Daily Moisture

The chemist-stocked product (yep, even Queen Bey knows the value of a drugstore beauty gem) is currently only available in the US, but thankfully there are many similarly non-greasy, everyday moisturisers on offer here in Australia: Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Moisturising Lotion, Dermaveen Moisturising Lotion and QV Skin Lotion are all great options.

Do you use any of these Beyoncé-approved beauty buys? Which other celebrities do you look to for beauty inspo?
