The best concealers of all time

by

Foundation takes all the glory, but concealer is the underdog MVP of a flawless base. It covers dark circles, pimples, pigmentation, acne scars and anything else you’d like to make temporarily invisible on your face.

The key to any full-coverage or ‘no-makeup’ makeup look, a decent  concealer is versatile and lightweight, camouflaging what it needs to without feeling thick and heavy on the skin.

While there’s are literally thousands of concealers on the market, few withstand the rigoruous testing that goes into a beautyheaven top ten list. Ahead is ten of the most popular concealers on the market, along with why they’re so highly coveted.

Maybelline New York FITme Concealer eliminates imperfections without hiding the skin’s natural radiance. Containing a translucent primer base and micro-fine pigments, the formula matches the skin seamlessly for a flawless finish.

I always have one or more of this in my makeup collection. As someone who suffers with adult acne and have for years this is one of the few concealers i have found to fully cover my acne as well as not dry it out. You don’t need to apply much for this to work however it doesn’t go cakey even when you heavily apply it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great everyday staple concealer.” – bh member EloiseC.

  1. Reviewing an old article. My favourite, the BareMinerals, has been discontinued, so I’m looking for a new one. I’ve used Touché Eclat and loved it, but it’s too expensive. I’m sure I’ll find something.
