- Overall rating:
Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc Free Loose Powder is a minimalist talc-free formula, which is perfect for those with sensitive or breakout-prone skin. It is a gentle formula which allows skin to breathe, and gives the coverage of a foundation combined with the natural finish of a powder. It comes with a large, wide brush, which provides full-face coverage and snaps into the cap for a convenient use and storage. Available in three colours: Translucent Medium, Sand Beige, and Creamy Natural.

Hate the brush, love the product
I went through two tubs of this and loved it the whole time. It is great as a setting powder or a foundation on its own and did a fairly good job of reflecting the colour off any blemishes to cover them without the need for heavier products. I would recommend this to anyone to have a try because it was very effective for me.

Light, easy to build up coverage
I have tried many mineral foundation powers, ranging from cheap to expensive. Each time I try a new one out I have the same problems: not enough coverage, not enough staying power and the tendency to get darker and splotchy around my t-zone. This is the only mineral powder foundation that I have tried which I have none of the mentioned problems. It feels light on my skin, and my face feels so smooth to touch. It also reduces the size of my pored. The brush, while smaller and a little rough, is the best one I have used - better than my $40 body shop one. Very happy with the purchase!!

I've been using this for a few days and really love it so far! I has really decent, buildable coverage and doesn't cake or oxidise. I do agree about the slightly tricky packaging, but I love that it's not wasteful of the product.

Great foundation with staying power
Very lightweight and great coverage, I'm not an everyday foundation wearer but I found this suited my skin as it didn't look caked on at all
As already mentioned the container is a little tricky, and I also found the brush to be a bit harsh and hairs kept falling out (I prefer using my own brushes anyway)

Not light enough
I have fair skin, not very very fair but fair. So i got this in the lightest shade and when first applied in my room i loved it, matte finish but not dry the coverage was pretty good. Then when i caught sight of my face/neck in the car mirror - ORANGE! It was atleast a couple of shades darker than my neck and no longer the ivory colour it appeared. totally orange. wont rebuy, might just be my skin but nowhere near light enough

This powder never lets me down. Never reacts against my skin, doesn't oxidise, doesn't feel heavy, doesn't cake, doesn't emphasise dry patches (too much) & gives beautiful coverage. However, it's lasting power and oil-controlling abilities do not impress. Hence 4 stars.

Mineral Powder Loose
Great product but tricky packaging. My oily skin is shine free, it feels like I'm wearing nothing but my face is soft to touch. Best foundation ever but I prefer it as a compact. I bought this because the compact was out of stock. The container is very tricky, I'm scared of spilling the whole lot every time I use it, it requires care but the end result is worth it. The short-handled brush feels awkward at first but you get used to it. Will stick to the compact version in future - same product, but easier application.

This is great, my favourite foundation ever! It feels light, but provides the perfect amount of coverage, giving my skin a flawless finish. Will definitely repurchase!

Mineral Wear Talc Free Mineral Loose Powder
I use this product every day. It doesn't make my skin break out and the coverage is really good.
