For years, women have boasted they can orgasm solely through penetrative sex. But new research suggests many of us may have been mistaken.

According to the US study, there’s no such thing as the vaginal orgasm or even the G-spot – implying countless women have believed they have sexual health problems based on a complete myth.

Writing in the journal Clinical Anatomy, the researchers claim the human female’s most erogenous zone – the clitoris and surrounding erectile tissue – is the true source of female orgasm.

So ladies, if you’ve ever worried about why you struggle to achieve climax during sex, you can breathe a sigh of relief!

The good news? While the size and position of the clitoris can impact our ability to reach climax, according to the study, almost all women can orgasm if their erectile organs are effectively stimulated.
