The formula to a good night’s sleep

Do you find that no matter how early you go to bed you still wake up exhausted? Or maybe you’re one of those people who spends their night tossing and turning?

Well, the clever clogs at ReDormin have done some research and come up with a formula based on their findings that can help you sleep better at night:

Okay, so that doesn’t make much sense to those of us who are a bit mathematically challenged. But here’s what it means in English:

– Doing yoga before bed can have a huge impact on both the quality of sleep and the duration (it can add up to 64 minutes!)

– Sleeping in the same bed as your partner is the second largest improver of the quality of sleep and can add 21 minutes of sleep time. BUT, if your partner snores, that will decrease the quality and time of sleep.

– Sex before sleeping has a positive effect on the quality of sleep.

– A hot shower before bed helps improve the quality and duration of sleep.

– Although watching a movie before bed can help improve the quality of your sleep, it can shave 10 minutes off of your sleep duration.

– Being calm before bed can have a positive effect on your sleep, while being alert can have a negative effect.

– Having your TV on standby, noises, and a mobile phone charging all night can have negative effects on the quality and length of your sleep.

Do you have any problems sleeping? Will you try some of these things to help improve your night’s sleep?
