Even though it feels like only yesterday a lot of these celebrity parents were young’uns themselves, it’s been nothing short of fascinating to watch their offspring grow into their equally beautiful mini-mes.
In what we can only assume must feel like a life of living in your parent’s shadow as the whole world watches on, these ultra-famous offspring have effortlessly flipped that concept on its head. Some have navigated their way to becoming celebrities in their own right, while others have chosen a life out of the spotlight (except for their appearance in this article of course).
Celebrity mum and daughter lookalikes
Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck
Just to clarify (because it’s certainly not obvious) the young lady on the left-hand side is Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s teenage daughter, Violet. The 17-year-old posed alongside her dad during a recent outing and, understandably, the internet went wild.
Kate Winslet and Mia Threapleton
Are we the only ones that didn’t know Kate Winslet had a 20-year-old daughter? And that she’s also an actress?! The pair made an appearance together at the 2023 BAFTAs, where Kate took home the win for Leading Actress for her role in I Am Ruth. And guess what? Mia also stars in it! Adding it to our watch list ASAP.
Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte
The coronation might’ve been for King Charles, but all eyes were on the dazzling daughter duo: Princess Kate and Princess Charlotte. Both ladies wore their brunette hair back in a bun, secured with a sparkly silver headpiece. Princess Charlotte truly was the perfect ‘Mini-Me’.
Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Carter
When Blue Ivy attended a basketball game recently with her dad, we had to do a double-take! The firstborn of Beyoncé and Jay-Z is starting to look so much like her mum at 10-years-old. Diva in the making!

Even in black and white, the uncanny resemblance between Jessica and her daughters is clear. And at just ages nine and three, the likeness is only bound to grow as they enter their teen years. In recent pics from Byrdie’s 3rd birthday, the signature blonde hair of all three showed the true strength of Jessica’s genes. Though her daughters seem to have inherited blue eyes rather than brown.

Maude and Iris Apatow are not only Leslie’s daughters in real life, but they’ve also played the same role on screen. Remember them from This Is 40 and Knocked Up? Yep, that was them. Their father Judd Apatow was the director of both films too, so it’s been a real family affair. Since then, Maude has gone on to play Lexi Howard on the hit show Euphoria and younger sister Iris played Arya Hopkins on the TV series Love, which was co-created by their father. Talk about a talented bunch.
Kate Moss and Lila Grace Moss Hack
The daughter of supermodel Kate Moss and Jefferson Hack has followed in her mum’s footsteps as she carves a modelling career of her own. Between modelling on the cover of Vogue, interviewing Gigi Hadid and attending the royal wedding, we think Lila is doing mum Kate proud.
Reese Witherspoon and Ava Elizabeth Phillippe
If this were a look-a-like competition, these two would win – hands down. The golden blonde hair, big blue eyes, dazzling large smiles; Reese (along with ex Ryan Phillippe) has just about cloned herself.
And while there’s definitely room in the world for more than one Reese Witherspoon, Ava is yet to follow in her mum’s acting and directing footsteps, however, we have seen glimpses of her on the modelling scene. Watch this space.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Apple Martin
It’s hard to forget the media storm from when Gwyneth first announced she’d named her daughter Apple, with her name at one point being Google’s top searched celebrity child in history. But being the daughter of a rockstar and an Oscar-winning actress aside, Apple lives a very private life.

Oh to have Cindy Crawford’s genetics! Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy and business man Rande Gerber (who just so happens to also be George Clooney’s bestie) landed her first modelling gig at age 10 for Versace and has been a part of the ‘it’ crowd scene ever since.
Dianna Ross and Tracee Ellis-Ross
Did you know American actress and TV host Tracee Ellis-Ross was the daughter of Diana Ross? Yep. We missed that too. The Blackish star recently debuted her own singing voice after admitting she was “too shy” before, having lived in the shadow of her superstar Motown mum.
Andie MacDowell and Margaret Qualley
Margaret Qualley recently played Andie MacDowell’s on-screen daughter in the Netflix drama series, Maid. However, some may not know that the actress is actually Andie MacDowell’s biological daughter in real life too. Did you pick it? We didn’t.
