Clarins Beauty Flash Balm review
“Oh my God!!” I used to look in the mirror and think, “yeah, I’m looking hot tonight!” Well actually I never got as far as hot but usually managed an OK.
A couple of years ago however, I noticed that things weren’t looking as perky as they used to. Was it bad lighting? No, unfortunately it was bad ageing!
What could I do to cement things back into place? Botox? Nip/tuck? Nah! Not for a chicken like me so I asked around my fellow ‘mature friends’ for any less painful solutions and the answer consistently seemed to be Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. Ever the sceptic I bought a sample tube from Ebay and decided to give it a whirl. It doesn’t seem to have the same level of popularity with my younger counterparts however. I definitely think it is one of those products to be used when you need it.
The first thing I noticed when I removed the list was the fresh, zingy smell. Different to other highly perfumed products I had tried in the past but pleasant in a more natural way.
I applied the balm about ten minutes before applying make-up and the difference was significant. My face looked tighter and fresher and lines were smoothed out. It gave my skin a radiance it doesn’t have without using the product.
I felt more confident about how I was looking and friends remarked on how well I looked. Since then, it really has been my best cosmetic friend and I now sing its praises to friends who are looking for a non-invasive and relatively (compared to surgery) inexpensive lift for ageing skin.
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm can be used as a pick me up under make-up or a more intensive mask treatment. The RRP for Beauty Flash Balm is AU$60 but it can be purchased for less online.
It really is one of my beauty staples (as a pragmatist, I don’t have that many) and one that I can thoroughly and honestly recommend.
