Pyjama-themed selfies should be cute in theory, but Bethenny Frankel has shocked fans on Instagram with a controversial image that’s anything but.
The 43-year-old SkinnyGirl Cocktail founder is pictured wearing her 4-year-old daughter’s tiny Hello Kitty-themed sleepwear set, complete with matching fluffy slippers.
Captioning the photo, “This is my daughter’s nightgown and PJ shorts. Think we’re ready to start sharing clothes yet?” Bethenny’s post attracted immediate criticism for promoting an unhealthy body image. Fellow mothers also expressed concern, arguing that the star has set a bad example for her daughter.
We’re all for playing dress-ups but in this case, we tend to agree with the critics.
