Tricks for the time poor

For all us working girls weekends are precious, so it’s no surprise that we pack it full of lunches and dinners with friends, trips to the movies, long-awaited shopping sprees and soaking up the sunshine on the beach. But this often means that by the time Sunday night rolls around we realise that we’ve done nothing to help prepare ourselves beauty wise for the week ahead. But never fear, because beautyheaven is here, to help you feel beauty ready for the week ahead no matter how much time you have left.
If you only have… 5 minutes
Even if you’re milking every last second of the weekend, you still need to shower right? Try popping in a hair mask while going about your other shower business. It will help repair any neglect from the busy weekend.
bh recommends: Garnier Fructis Dry/Damaged Treatment Mask and De Lorenzo Equilibrium masque.
If you only have…. 10 minutes
A DIY manicure is a quick way to help you feel a little more prepared for the week. Start by completely removing the chipped old polish from last week, followed by a complete file and buff. Finish off with a quick-dry polish that will go with any outfit.
bh recommends: Cutex 4 Way Buffer and Bourjois 10 Days Nail Enamel.
If you only have…. 20 minutes
Remove every trace of make-up and give your skin a proper clean. If you own a cleansing brush, dig it out of the vanity and get to work. If not, slather on a face mask and leave it to work it’s magic. Socially-packed weekends usually go hand in hand with a lot of make-up application so it’s nice to reward your skin at the end of it.
bh recommends: FOREO LUNA™ and Essenzza Health Moisturise + Smooth.
If you only have… 30 minutes
Operation: hair removal. There’s nothing worse than going to slip on a dress for work on Monday, only to realise you have a serious case of furry legs or worse, overgrown underarms. Whether you prefer to wax, shave or use hair removal cream, take your time to cover all areas and start your week off hair-free to avoid any outfit restrictions.
bh recommends: Gillette Venus & Olay Razor SugarBerry, Nad’s Body Wax Strips for Sensitive Skin and Veet Suprem’Essence In-shower Hair Removal Cream

Some good tips. I try and exfoliate and use a face mask and hair treatment on a Sunday night. Ready for the working week ahead.

Hair masks are definitely the most effective with a spare 5 minutes. The results will last ages

I usually try to do a weekly mask for my oily blemish prone skin. Incorporating a hair mask sounds like a great idea!

Of course it is best to give your skin a good clean every day, but I like to do an extra face mask and deep exfoliation on Sundays too
