Ready, steady, mani/pedi

Q: “Help! My hands and feet are so neglected and a trip to the salon for a mani and pedi is so long overdue that I’m embarrassed! What is a quick and easy fix that I can do at home to ensure pretty fingers and toes?”
Karon McKendrick-Taylor, OPI Educator suggests finding products that don’t take a lot of time, effort or money, but can do the job between treatments. A product that can cover both fingers and toes is ideal. Manicure/Pedicure By OPI comes in a range of flavours, like Papaya & Pineapple. McKendrick-Taylor informs us that the kit contains three products that will ensure your mani and pedi stays intact with little effort. The weekly scrub, mask and daily massage work together to remove dead skin cells, hydrate skin and leave it smooth and silky.
Marslie Smits, a Creative Nail Design expert recommends creating a DIY hand and foot spa to get rid of any dead skin cells and make skin silky soft.
All you need is a bucket filled with warm water and a pinch or two of sea salt to soak feet in for a few minutes. Use extra salt to carry on the scrub up the legs and then rinse. A regular pedicure paddle can be used to remove hard skin from around the heel and ball of your foot before intensely moisturising with CND’s Cucumber Heel Therapy (this wonder balm incorporates chamomile and aloe to aid in the repair of dry, cracked skin).
Follow by applying a small dot of Cuticle Eraser and Solar Oil to each toe and rub them in – these act as a shampoo and conditioner for the cuticles!
Repeat these steps on a smaller scale to ensure your hands stay picture perfect between manicures.

Just moisturise it, don't go to the beauty stores to get pedicures. Because if you get it done heaps of times eventually your skin will start peeling because sometimes people don't really have much of a build up of dead skin cells. That's what the people are trying to do. Remove the dead skin cells of your feet. It sheds it self naturally any way.
