Which nail strengthener should I be using?

You’ve had enough of your weak, soft nails and you’ve decided it’s time to take a stand. No longer will you put up with splitting and peeling nails. Gone are the days where you’ll just sigh at a chipped nail and say: “Well, that’s just how it goes.” You’re done and you’re on the hunt for a nail strengthener to transform your nails from weak to wonderful.
But which one do you choose? There are so many out there and they kinda seem the same and all set out to achieve the same goal, but surely they must be different, right? Right.
And that’s why we’re here – to help you wade through all the information and point you in the direction of the nail strengthener that’s right for you and what you want out of your nail strengthener.
IF YOU WANT PROVEN RESULTS
With so many nail strengthening products on the market, there are bound to be a couple that won’t quite achieve the results you’re after. Thankfully, there are those that not only do what they say, but they’ve actually got proven results.
Revitanail Nail Strengthener, isn’t only one of the most recognised nail strengtheners out there, but it’s known to work a treat to sort out any issues with peeling, flaking and chipping, leaving nails harder, stronger and healthier. Calcium in the formula also gives it that extra edge to help even the weakest of nails (think: those that are damaged by acrylics, nail extensions and gel manicures) bounce back. With a beautyheaven Glosscar award and a four-star rating under its belt, this product’s reputation is totally backed by the rave reviews.
For best results: Paint two coats on clean nails on the first day, and then only one coat for the next five days. On the seventh day, clean your nails with nail polish remover and start again. Keep going for a 28-day period Allow your nails to rest for 1-2 weeks between programs. For optimum results, massage Revitanail Nourishing Oil into the cuticles after each application of the Nail Strengthener has dried, as well during the 1-2 week rest period.
IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE NAILS
Just because you have sensitive nails (or are pregnant or breastfeeding) doesn’t mean you have to tolerate bendy, soft and weak nails. Or use products that are gentle enough, but not really all that effective.
Revitanail Nail Strengthener Pink has been formulated especially for those who want a product that’ll deliver on the whole nail strengthening thing, but may have nails that are too sensitive for traditional nail strengthening ingredients. The sensitive formula contains Dimethyl Urea, which gently hardens nails, and pearl and diamond powders, which help give your nails extra nourishment and strength.
For best results: Apply a thin coat on clean nails daily for four days. On the fifth day, remove and repeat the process three more times. Allow your nails to rest for 1-2 weeks between programs. For optimum results, massage Revitanail Nourishing Oil into the cuticles after each application of the Nail Strengthener has dried, as well during the 1-2 week rest period.
IF YOUR NAILS ARE PAINTED
Some women simply can’t have their nails unpainted. Talk of bare nails is basically blasphemous, so the process of applying a nail strengthener to clean nails for a period of about four weeks can be a bit off-putting.
Thankfully there is a nail strengthening treatment that will help get nails back on track without sacrificing that colourful manicure. Revitanail Keratin Strengthening Serum kind of acts like a hand, cuticle or nail cream, where you massage the treatment into your nails to hydrate, protect and strengthen them. The gentle formula also makes it a great option for those with sensitive nails and/or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
For best results: Massage this into your nails and cuticles as often as you need, daily – just make sure you give each nail about a minute of attention. Great one for your desk, before you catch your beauty rest, or as the perfect travel companion in your handbag!
IF YOU WANT COLOUR AND CARE
Nobody said that you couldn’t paint your nails and strengthen them in just a few swipes of a nail polish brush. And it’s not like you have to compromise on the effectiveness of either.
Revitanail Triple Strength nail polishes basically combine the vibrant colour of a nail polish with the healing qualities of a nail treatment. With ingredients like keratin, bamboo and calcium (and available in gloriously glossy shades) the polishes are perfect solution for the girl who loves to do a DIY mani and is looking to improve the flexibility and strength of her nails.
For best results: Just apply two coats of Revitanail Triple Strength directly onto your clean nails without using a base coat. It doesn’t get much easier, does it? Oh, and don’t forget to finish off with the Revitanail Top Coat or Revitanail 3D Top Coat to ensure your mani stays chip-free and glossy for days.
Do you have weak, soft nails? Which of these nail strengtheners would work best for you?

The nail strengthener that works for me 100% (I have very very strong nails!) is raw fruit/veg and nut/seed rich diet. All those feed the skin and grow super glossy strong nails

It's awesome. The white parts of my nails double the length of the pink bits. Good diet and letting your nails breathe are a must as well.

I have used the nourishing oil with good results. I find that I must be diligent with looking after my nails and condition on a regular basis. I have also started to wear gloves when washing dishes. This has really helped to repair my nails.

I already have the serum and the strengthener (hope it doesn't go off as the latter is pretty old). My main problem is remembering to use them. Mind you, that is the story of my life - I'm always 'going' to do things!!

I think I really have to try the Revitanail serum. I like to paint my nails fairly regularly, but give them a rest quite often. When they reach a certain (not very long) length, they break, and even though I use a nail hardener under every base coat, it's not working very well.
