6 of the best beauty collaborations

When you combine a fabulous beauty brand with an iconic celebrity, fashion label OR a make-up guru, the results can be magical.

Often the products released in a collaboration collection are only available for a limited time, but when they’re really special (and fly off the shelves) they can sometimes stick around, or be brought back again. Here are the top collabs we’re stocking up on, are hoping will make a return or just downright LOVE:

Christopher Kane x NARS

Fashion designer Christopher Kane has given us one of the best NARS collections we’ve ever seen. If you ever had any doubt about fashion and beauty collabs, his collection NEONEUTRAL will put them to bed. The 10 product line-up was released mid-2015 and featured soft, everyday colours for during the week and serious pops of colour for the weekend. Consider yourself one lucky gal if you picked something up while you had the chance.

Kendall Jenner x Estée Lauder

When Kendall Jenner became the face of Estée Lauder, we were a little surprised at their youthful approach (especially considering how many people are obsessed with the fine line-fighting Advanced Night Repair). BUT when Kendall released her limited-edition Pure Color Envy Lipstick in the most striking orangey-red hue, we were totes on board. The shade was called Restless and we’re hoping and praying they bring it back before next summer, as it was the perfect beach party hue.

House of Holland x Elegant Touch

DIY false nails have never looked more on-trend since House of Holland (a UK-based fashion label) partnered with Elegant Touch. The colours, patterns and almond-shaped designs are such an easy way to turn basic nails into something next level. Our top pick is the Heart Breaker set – get them before they’re gone!

Kate Moss x Rimmel London

It started with a lipstick collection and now Kate Moss’ partnership with Rimmel London has grown into nail polishes, mascaras, and most recently, a contouring palette. One of bh’s Sam’s favourite red lippies of all time is the Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick in shade 107. Watch how she uses it to create the perfect bold lip-look here.

Katy Perry x Eylure

When you’re looking for lashpo, the first celeb who pops to mind is usually Katy Perry. So when the singer released her own false lash line with Eylure, it was (as cliché as it sounds) a match made in heaven. Our members really rate the Sweetie Pie pair, Jayde480 says, “I loved these lashes! They were so easy to apply and for someone like myself who loves natural and subtle-looking lashes these were just perfect! I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. I will definitely buy [these] again and 100 per cent recommend [them].”

Jaclyn Hill x BECCA

With over three million subscribers tuning in to watch her make-up tutorials, it was only a matter of time before YouTube sensation and professional make-up artist Jaclyn Hill had her own line. BECCA was the lucky brand who made the Champagne Collection happen, with the first face palette selling out in just 90 minutes. Out of the entire collection, only one product is still available for purchase at Sephora in Australia – Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed in Champagne Pop ($64). Highlighting queens this one is for you!

Did you get your hands on any of these collections? Or do you have any other favourite limited- edition products?
