When I see the likes of Blake Lively swanning about with luscious locks down to her bottom, I tend to get a bad case of the green-eyed monster. I can’t help but think, ‘Hellooo – why can’t my tresses look so deliciously swishy?’

I’ve been in a constant battle against split-ends and dry-ish strands for what feels like forever – and it’s all because I covet super-lengthy locks.

Then, the other day, a stylish snap of Brit IT girl, Alexa Chung, graced my desk and it suddenly dawned on me – the girl is considered seriously cool for rocking the above-the-shoulder chop, so maybe I should give it a go too?

So now I am in serious talks with myself on whether I should go down the short and chic road or not. It feels like I’ve been growing my mop for ages, but it’s at that pesky won’t-move-past-the-collarbone phase, and I’m far past peeved with waiting.

Oh well, at least if I do go short, I’ve always got my Scunci Faux Hair 20” Dark Brunette Clip in Pony Tail to lengthen me back out again – should I want to that is!
