Five hot weather hair how-tos
THE HALF BUN
-
Comb your hair and get rid of any tangles using your fingers or the Avon Detangling Comb. Don’t use a brush, beauties! It will flatten your hair - you just want to brush the knots out, not kill the volume.
-
Give your tresses some gritty texture with the help of Polished London Dry Shampoo. For this style, it’s best to start off with hair that’s a little dirty!
-
Take ¼ of your hair and pull it to the top of your head in the position where you want your bun to sit. Experiment with levels for different looks.
-
Scrunch the hair together to create a messy, I-woke-up-like-this effect, and tie with Lady Jayne Snagless Elastic.
-
Secure into place with bobby pins and hairspray. Try Cedel Extra Firm Hairspray - it’s super easy to brush out.
-
Straighten, wave or curl the hair that’s still hanging down. The ghd gold series will help you to achieve all three styles.
What’s your go-to summer hairdo? Will you try any of these styles?

I'm using the telephone-line hair ties currently to throw my hair up - they are the most comfy hair ties I've ever used.

I do this at home to get my hair out of my face.. I use to style my hair similar to this as a teenager and I would rather not go THERE again!

I was rocking this style the other day haha it was just around the house though being lazy. Not sure Id wear it out in public. Strange to say considering but it looks like a female version of the man bun

Not a fan of this, it reminds me of men's hipster hairdos where they have a shaven underside and a little bun on top

Looks cute, but I don't think it's for me.
