How-to: Rapunzel braid
Is it just me, or as a child did you watch Jasmine and Aurora on screen in your favourite Disney flicks in awe, thinking
you were bound to be in store for some serious sultry locks when you were old enough?
Yeah – me too. Which is why I think it’s high time we get our comeuppance. I have sought out a braid that would have Rapunzel clutching at her seriously lengthy strands and gasping. This ‘do may not make your hair as long as her infamous locks, but the ‘Rapunzel braid’ will definitely look pretty cool – and who wants to maintain hair that long anyway?
We used: Scunci Grooming Clear Polybands
Check out how simple it is to pull of the ‘Rapunzel braid’…

Oh so easy! I have done something similar, as having couple of boho style small braids over, than braided them in into 2 side braids, came to be 2 'rapunzel' ones hehe

I don't know about this braid on me, but my daughter would love it. I have to convince her to let me do her hair again. She's almost a teenager ;-)

Oh, yes....I did try to do braids on my niece, she was wiggling so much, that I managed to do half of the style I wanted to do with braids. She is little though...maybe it is easier with your bigger kid =D

Such a pretty style the Rapunzel braid, its very feminine. I would have to get someone to do the style for me, I am all thumbs with braiding.

So pretty! Great video, clear directions. I must get some of those clear elastics . They are small so don't end up looking like my normal hair tie wrapped around a zillion times and becoming the main feature which is so wrong lol

I've never really tried braids that aren't a normal plait as I always thought it was too hard. This video makes me realise it's much easier than I thought. Might give it a go when I have time.

I haven't got anywhere near enough hair to pull it into a bun let alone do funky braids! Such a cool looking braid though, maybe I can do it on my sister's hair, somehow she got lovely thick hair and I didn't.
