In fact, as Wella Pro Series Expert, Michael Brennan, shows us that big, volumised hair is surprisingly, pretty darn easy to achieve.
Here’s how you do it…

bh recommends: Moroccanoil Hydrating Shampoo, Pureology Hydrate Shampoo, Sunsilk Refreshing Hydration Shampoo, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo, Garnier Fructis Coconut Water Shampoo
2.) Towel-dry your hair and apply a volumising mousse at the roots to create lift, working it through to your mid-lengths give your hair some extra holding power.
bh recommends: muk Haircare Fat muk - Volumising Blowout Mousse, Models Prefer Style It Volumising Mousse, Trevor Sorbie Thicker & Fuller Mousse
3.) Next, rough-dry your hair, before separating it into one-inch sections and wrapping each section of hair around some tongs to create loose curls and movement.
4.) Shake the curls out to create a layered effect and finish with hairspray.
bh recommends: Schwarzkopf Extra Care Body & Texture Hairspray, VO5 Ultimate Hold Hairspray, TRESemmé Freeze Hold Hairspray, KMS HAIRSTAY Working Hairspray

When I first started reading this article, I thought it would involve a trip to the hairdresser. I'm glad it's something I can try at home though.

Her hair looks great! I don't style my hair much, usually just a bit of hair oil or serum to tame the flyaways.

Her hair looks great, but my hair always resists texture, movement and volume!

Love her hair! For me, a bit of hairspray will do the trick. It makes my hair look volumised.

Great hair tips. I must try the tip using a volumising mousse to give my roots a lift. I love Jennifer Lopezs hair and colour

If I wear my hair down, I like mousse. It gives me texture without making my oil-prone hair look dirty.

I like her look. It's nice to see someone going against the typical Hollywood look too all the time. It looks cool but not dirty.

I like her hair - it looks so easy to look after and 'do'. I won't mind shorter hair like that sometime in the future.

For some reason, my ends have decided to go a bit crispy. I don't know what's going on right now! I think it's a new serum I've decided to try out (and I am incredibly unhappy about it). The mid-length is fine but the ends are like cereal. Crunchy.
