Easy hairstyles for every length: Medium

STYLE #1: DEEP SIDE PART
“To create a simple version of Veronica Lake-esque waves is pretty easy, and I tend to favour this look for day-to-day. After washing my hair with evo gluttony volume shampoo and conditioner, I blow-dry my clean hair backwards, away from my face to keep it as smooth as possible. Then, I use the Lady Jayne Tail Comb to form a deep part, brushing the majority of the hair to one side.
Volume is key to this look and helps to add hold and body, so a volumising product like the Fudge Big Hair Elevate Styling Powder is essential. I lightly dust the powder along my hairline, then gently rub it into the roots. Next, I use my hands to brush the hair into place, and then I create hold with some light hairspray, like the TONI&GUY Hair Care Flexible Hold Hairspray.
Finally, I smooth down my hair with some Moroccanoil Light Oil Treatment. I use both hands to apply the oil, and only to the ends, twirling slightly to keep the curl.” - bh's Sarah
bh recommends: Philips Pro Dryer, Fudge URBAN Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hair Spray, Schwarzkopf Extra Care Instant Volume Powder
STYLE #2: BRAID
“A braid is a go-to for me when I don’t want to deal with dirty locks and I want to keep the hair off my face. With hair that is already parted with a deep side part, I start by prepping my hair with Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL along my part and hairline before rubbing in.
I keep the hair pulled tight throughout as I braid. Then, I tie the braid off, leaving enough at the end to wrap around my bun later. Next, I create a bun at the nape of my neck, then take the braided section and wrap the end around the base of my bun and pin in place.
To finish, I always add a nice spritz of VO5 Tame and Shine Spray to tame any fly aways and give my dirty hair some life!” - bh's Sarah

Love this one. When lazy I do also one side braid and when hot just roll it up in bun so it does not touch my neck

So clever to be able to do your own braids! I love the look but would end up in a tangle.

Loving the braids. I have medium hair but it is layered in some sections so impossible to braid.

Put some teasing into the bun will make it look a bit bigger ;)

I love these thanks. I have long hair but can use this. I'm tying the side parts all the time.

Love the braid. I think a change in where you part your hair can make a huge difference to your look.

I've been braiding my medium length hair recently and it's so much easier to deal with!

Unfortunately i don't think either would suit my thin straight hair.
