Lucy Minerals

Hi beauties,

I’ve been using Asian BB Cream and I’ve started developing acne all over my face, particularly around the chin and jawline area. I am unsure whether they are hormonal acne (I had clear skin before!) or whether my cosmetics are the culprit.

So, I’ve decided to switch to mineral makeup and try it out for 8 weeks to see if there are changes to my skin.

I bought some samples Lucy Minerals foundation. It’s awesome! The only downfall I can see is that after a few hours, my face feels somewhat oily. I’ve been using the Original Formula because I don’t really have oily skin but am acne prone.

So beauties…do you think it’s better if I tried the OCC or OCS formulas??? Or do you think they’d be drying out my face?

Oh and if anyone can give me guidance on colour. I am NC25 for MAC and tried Bisque (tslightly too pink for me), Creamy Bisque (slightly too yellow) and Light Medium (WAY too pink). What’s the best colour for me?

Thanks beauties!!!

xoxo

That’s a shame Mdy_118. I use the Missha BB Cream and I haven’t had any problems with that one. Have you tried the Garnier BB cream, a lot of Beauties have given that good reviews.

Hi there, I am an NW20 in MAC and use the lucy minerals light medium if that’s any help. I absolutely love Annie’s products, they are such a good price and excellent quality. I would also recommend the Ambrosia serum, my skin looks amazing since using it. 🙂

You can definately try out the oil control formulas as well. Make sure you get the finishing powder with oil control. That seems to help me 🙂
