SheaMoisture Hair Care products are free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, paraffin, gluten, propylene glycol, mineral oil, synthetic fragrance, synthetic colour, DEA and not tested on animals. All SheaMoisture products are sustainably sourced with natural, certified organic and ethically sourced ingredients and offer products to suit all hair types.

The triallers were instructed to use the products on all areas of the hair, as often as required. Triallers were advised to use the shampoo, followed by the conditioner and treatment.

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo, Conditioner, and Curl Enhancing Smoothie are formulated to control frizz and flyaways for thick, curly and textured hair. The products contain certified organic shea butter, coconut oil, silk protein and neem oil to soften and detangle hair while reducing frizz. Most triallers found that the products left their curly hair feeling soft and manageable. The majority of triallers also appreciated the scent of the products.

SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Shampoo, Conditioner and Strengthening and Restore Masque are designed to restore, repair and strengthen damaged, chemically-processed, colour treated or heat styled hair. The products contain certified organic shea butter, Jamaican black castor oil, apple cider vinegar and peppermint to provide essential oils and leave hair soft, strong and healthy. Most triallers found that the products left their damaged hair feeling smooth and restored. The majority of triallers also reported that the products were easy to use and worked well together.

SheaMoisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-In Conditioner are formulated to moisturise, cleanse and condition all types of hair, especially dry, normal to thin hair types. The products contain virgin coconut oil, coconut milk and acacia senegal to provide renewed hydration, manageability and shine. Most triallers found that the products left their hair feeling manageable and soft. The majority of triallers also appreciated the coconut fragrance of the products.

SheaMoisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intense Hydration Shampoo, Conditioner and Masque are designed to provide intensive hydration for naturally very dry hair. The products contain organic shea butter, manuka honey, mufura and baobab oils and African rock fig to enfuse the hair with moisture and shine. Most triallers reported that the products effectively hydrated their dry hair. The majority of triallers also appreciated the organic ingredients and ethical ethos of the brand.
