UPDATE: The winner of Pantene Pro-V’s #TrainYourHairStrong Hair Knot competition has been announced! 23-year-old Melissa Hurwitz from Northbridge, Sydney has taken the top spot! Melissa’s national campaign will be rolling out from July, starting in shopping centres across Sydney and Melbourne. Congratulations Melissa! Just look at those locks!

Have you always dreamed of starring in one of those glossy hair ads? Well, this could be your chance – Pantene Pro-V has just launched a nationwide Instagram search for the new star of its SMART Pro-Vitamin Formula advertising campaign.

The winner will follow in the footsteps of Pantene ambassadors such as Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding and Gisele Bundchen, appearing in Pantene’s new outdoor advertising campaign, which will be seen by thousands of Australians across Westfield shopping centres nationally.

To enter, all you have to do is show off your take on the iconic Pantene hair knot on Instagram and share what makes you strong.

Need some inspo for your entry? Influencers including Aussie fit girls the Base Body Babes, fashion blogger Tash Sefton and singer Ricki-Lee Coulter have already posted their hair knots for the #TrainYourHairStrong campaign and if you ask us, the accompanying captions are pretty empowering…
