Gee, your locks are looking kind of old

Older, more mature manes often lack the vitality and sheen that more youthful heads of hair seem to have. As you age, your scalp can also tend to become more sensitive, more easily irritated, and more prone to damage when subjected to heat styling tools.
Before you hold your own hair in your hands and let out a helpless, heavy sigh, take comfort in the fact that the clever peeps at Kérastase have come up with an ingenious solution to ensure your hair looks as young as you feel (or even younger if you’re feeling the strains of old age!).
The secret is in the advanced technology in the Age Premium range (which comprises Bain Substantif shampoo, Masque Substantif rejuvenating mask, and Laque Substantive hairspray), and the blend of hair-caring ingredients that work in unison to provide a strong, shiny and healthier-looking finish.
Hyaluronic acid in the formulation works as it does on skin, to intensely hydrate and rebalance the scalp. It also brings additional comfort to the scalp’s epidermis, which can become very dry and flaky as you age.
Intra cylane™ molecules inject protein into the hair fibre, instantly expanding on contact with water, and strengthening the hair from within. Your hair is left looking thicker and more youthful with more density than ever before!
So if you’re worried that your hair is beginning to look your age, you best take the appropriate steps to ensure it remains looking youthful and full of vitality, so that you feel the same way!

When I am in the sun for a prolonged amount of time I make sure to wear a hat. I also am quite TLC to my hair, treating it like a piece of antique lace so it's extremely healthy :)

I've recently fallen in love with hair oils, WOW, they are amazing!!! I'm using the Hei Poa Pur Mineral Hair Oil in Vanilla or the new Dove Nutritive Oil or Orofluido Oil (which smells amazing). My hair has never felt so good and soft and it's actually shiny. So I'm quite happy with the state of my hair at the moment.

I like to give my hair regular treatments/masks, and I make sure to always use a heat protectant.

Sounds like a great product. I'm still using Age Resist by Wella and keeping my hair looking younger.

My hair is still in a healthy inspite my age, and length of my hair - luckily I still havent got any greys. I look after my locks by avoiding heat styling where I can, I was every second day, and always use products specifically suited for my hair. Once a week I do a deep treatment, and then have a trim ever 8 weeks. And it seems to be paying off.

Love the sound of the products in the blog. I try and look after my hair with regular treatments. I always dry it naturally-never use heated hair tools-and never use chemical dyes! By doing this I am able to keep my hair in fairly good condition! Love to try new treatments and conditioners. They appear to be better and better each new range that comes out.

My hair is better condition these days as I use Pantene's Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo/Conditioner as well as hair treatment oils to condition the hair and protect it from heat styling. I also recently trimmed it to get rid of some split ends.

I dye my hair regularly, but I make sure I put treatments through my hair also. If I didn't my hair would look old, lacking vitality. I also change my shampoo and conditioner often, my hair seems to like this and looks a lot healthier for it. ###Sandra PS ..........Garnier have a great range of products to treat tired, old hair.

Kerastase & Schwarzkopf products are great. John Frieda also have some little beauties and I like Pantenes' Night Miracle and All Day Smooth too! With all these products I can grow my hair long and relatively healthily even though I'm a beach person and love the salt, sun and surf. ; )

Kérastase Elixir Ultime is my secret weapon against aging hair - keeps it shining and super glossy. Highlighting gives it a lift too:-)
