Monday Haircare Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

Say hello to the newest kid on the supermarket block. Monday promises salon-quality products at affordable prices – not to mention the range is also free of any nasties. The bottles are made with recycled plastic and they look SO CUTE in your bathroom. We’re fans of the volume version, but they have shampoo and conditioner sets available in smoothing, repairing and, sensitive-friendly variations too.

($10, available at Coles).

Sukin Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner

Those who love affordable and natural haircare, swear by Sukin. The hydrating shampoo and conditioner combo contains shea butter and coconut to tame frizz and repair dry and damaged hair, while olive oil strengthens and adds shine.

Organic Care Normal Balance Shampoo and Conditioner

OC’s Normal Balance Shampoo and Conditioner features aloe vera and ginseng for balance and hydration. They’re suitable for all hair types, but they do also offer a hydrating product for those with drier hair, as well as a repair-specific product for damaged hair.

Redken Colour Extend Shampoo and Conditioner

As we don’t know when our next trip to the salon might be, Redken’s Colour Extend line might be our saving grace. It’s specially crafted to target and revive coloured hair, while repairing and providing protection.

  1. I buy most hair products from online stores such as Nourished Life. I sometimes buy a TRESemmé conditioner that's silicone-free from the supermarket. This conditioner is often not in stock so I hope that the company is not going to discontinue it.

  2. The Monday shampoo and conditioner are amazing. I got the Repair version. It smells absolutely gorgeous and my hair feels silky soft. I got mine on special for $7 each. Normal price $10. I’ve been using mostly Redken for ages. But there’s lots of fantastic brands hitting the shelves in supermarkets and I’m wondering if I really do need to buy salon products. I personally won’t use the really cheap supermarket brands, but some of these newer ones make you think about it hey.

  3. Love good quality wooden hair tools especially brushes and combs. Haven't paid attention to the Tony and Guy one. Also been meaning to try Sukin looks so good and affordable
