The final countdown

Spoiler alert: I am about to discuss the Project Runway winner!

The girls at my local nail salon would have a fit if they could see my paws right now, for I have chewed, bitten and torn my way through the last eleven weeks of Project Runway.

Seeing the transformation, not only in the clothes, but the designers, has been amazing. But I was pleased as punch when Anthony and his watering can took the crown – never before has the show seen such a talented, eclectic and true-to-himself designer in my opinion.

His last look, styled expertly by TRESemmé Head Stylist, Joh Bailey, had masses of flower power, here’s how to recreate the spiky up ‘do at home…

Step 1: wash hair with TRESemmé Salon Silk Shampoo and TRESemmé Salon Silk Conditioner.

Step 2: apply TRESemmé Smoothing Crème to damp hair and blow-dry your hair straight.

Step 3: pull your hair up into a high ponytail, then using a fine-toothed comb and TRESemmé Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray, comb out any bumps and stray hairs.

Step 4: separate the ponytail into two pieces. Take the first piece and do a half loop around the ponytail. (You’ll end up with the ‘bottom’ of the ponytail at the top of the head.) Secure with bobby pins and repeat with the second piece of the ponytail.

Step 5: spritz with TRESemmé Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray to keep everything in place.

Are you happy Anthony won? What do you think of this style?
