When one of the world’s most stylish women weds, what do we expect? Diamonds, lace, a veil with a train a couple of hundred metres long and more than anything else, we expect to be shocked, wowed and completely and utterly blown away.
So when we saw snaps of stylish New Yorker Olivia Palermo’s recent nuptials to longtime beau Johannes Huebl, we were shocked – but for different reasons than you’d expect.
The red carpet regular wasn’t dolled up to the nines, decked out in diamonds or pearls, instead choosing to rock an elegantly informal look with an ostrich feather jumper, show-stopping full tulle Caroline Herrera skirt and a chic, messy ponytail that is a completely unexpected choice for the usually slicked-back Olivia.
