  1. Humidity has always played havoc with my hair. I dont mind when I'm on holidays and can just twist and pull up it up in a clip but for a dressier evening look I rely on oils, specific shampoo and conditioner and my trusty straightener! It's alot of work.

  2. Fortunately humidity doesn't affect my hair. My daughter has extremely frizzy, curly hair and needs the oils and products to keep her hair under control.

  3. My hair and humidity are just not friends. I sometimes end up looking like a frizz ball. I have very fine fair. I love Eleven Australia Miracle Hair Treatment. It does seem to help. I also love Living Proof No Frizz Instant De Frizzer hair spray (Mecca). It’s available in a small can for your handbag too! If I style my hair and use this it usually does the trick for me. But for the really really super humid days I just tie it up.

  4. Even with Argan Oil my hair still plays up with humidity unfortunately, can really get you down when it looked perfect when you went out but not when you get home, due to humidity.

  5. Humidity and my hair are not friends at all. Even a ponytail is a a wild mess when it is freshly washed. Lucky for leave ins and heavy conditioning treatments help but I wouldn't dream of trying to straighten it.

  6. Love humidity, good for skin. Puffy hair, ah well hehe…I do use serums and haircare that makes my hair look sleek(ish). Also wearing dutch braids to hold finest smallest hairs in place. Or a bun.

  7. Warning: does not stay on the head for long. Elastics will loosen after a short period of time and turban will slip off your head in no time. And be completely useless unless you invest into regular new band stitching. They only stay on the head for a month or two of use. And even then slip of the head when tossing and turning. Wish there is one that stays on the head and lasts at least a year.

Oh, and summer days, heloooo sweating and heat! Heat gets trapped in there and you get up with sticky scalp and hair that was steaming all night.

  8. This is plait or bun weather! I don't want my hair on the back of my sweaty neck.

I usually plait my hair to sleep – & somehow it still ends up knotty! I don't think that silk turban would stay on when I breakdance on my head in my sleep. (Spinning on my head in my sleep is the only logical explanation for HOW knotty & messy my hair is in the mornings.)

  9. The out of control heat here in QLD has been driving me crazy. There is no way that I can not wash my hair daily. My scalp is sweating way too much. Im really looking forward to some cooler weather.

  10. I'm frizzy mainly on one side but it doesn't seem to be related to humidity (although I'm sure that doesn't help). I blame 40 years of colouring and perms (though it's over 20 years since my last one of those!). I've tried the Frizz ease to no effect but I should investigate all my stash to see if there is anything else there. My hair is fine so I can't use anything to heavy or it looks like I've showered under an oil can (slight exaggeration but I'm sure you know what I mean).

  11. I think I'm going to have to go shopping. I hate my frizzy curly hair and I struggle to bring myself to straighten or style it knowing it will all be undone in 10mins. Would love to put some of these products to the test and actually feel good about my hair no matter the weather.

  12. My hair struggles with frizziness all the time! , unfortunately too many smoothing products contain film-forming ingredients that I want to avoid in haircare. I have come to accept that no matter how well I treat it my hair will always have some frizz.

  13. One of my pet hates is humidity. My hair is like a barometer, as soon as there is some humidity in the air it starts to frizz. When it’s really high humidity it looks like I have a public hair helmet on my head.

  14. My hair goes deader straighter and limp – oh so limp – in humid weather. None of this lovely curlier hair for me – my daughter’s curls get so bouncy and springy in the damp weather – she is so lucky!

  15. Yes my hair gets limper & more flyaway in the humidity. I don’t really do much for it other than try to keep it slicked back. It’s annoying, but there’s not much I can do about it I feel (especially since I’ve got finer hair & overloading it with product makes it look limp).
