Dry shampoo has long been a staple in our beauty routines — but why stop there? These days the dry styling options are endless, allowing us to extend the wear of styles and keep our manes looking fresh and fab without worrying about fitting in a full wash and condition. Because let’s be honest, we all want great hair, but we also want it fast.

The best thing is there’s plenty of choice for different hair types too. So whether you’re after revived and defined curls or a weightless refresh that also adds texture and volume, there are dry styling picks that’ll perform for you.

Watch the video above to see just how lifeless hair can be revitalised with a few spritzes.

First look: Thick, curly hair

Step 1.

Use the Pantene Pro-V Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam to remove excess oil by working it into the roots. Dry and then brush out.

Step 2.

Spritz the Pantene Pro-V Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist on mid-lengths and ends to smooth and hydrate.

Step 3.

Finish by scrunching and twisting the Pantene Pro-V Curl Affair Curl Reshaping Cream throughout your lengths to redefine curls and provide a soft and hydrated finish.

Second look: Thin, limp hair

Step 1.

Spray the Pantene Pro-V Never Tell Dry Shampoo at the roots to remove excess oil and then brush out.

Step 2.

Spritz the Pantene Pro-V Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist on mid-lengths and ends to smooth and hydrate.

Step 3.

Finish with the Pantene Pro-V Sweet Mess Texturising Sugar Hair Spray to create instant texture.

  1. Haven’t used Dry Shampoo hardly at all, only if I am in hospital or I cannot wash my hair. It is great that Pantene Pro-V Mist Shampoo, conditioner and hair spray. Pantene is a Trusted Brand which I like.

  2. For the curly hair look, their doesn’t seem to be much difference in appearance between Pantene Pro-V Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist and Pantene Pro-V Curl Affair Curl Reshaping Cream.

  3. I’m not a great fan of dry shampoo, but I will use it in desperation, eg if I’m sick or stuck in hospital. I’ve got a can of Muk at the moment, and as far as dry shampoo goes it’s actually not too bad. I won it in a prize pack from Beautyheaven. Thanks Beautyheaven!

  4. Not a fan of dry shampoo. I used to use it on my fringe as a teenager and then at 19 I suddenly noticed grey hairs appearing only on my fringe!
Could be a coincidence but I’ve avoided it ever since.

  5. Not a fan of dry shampoo, largely due to how much alcohol is contained in it (something my scalp is allergic to) & also it never does anything for my roots. I’d rather just chuck my hair up into a top knot or high ponytail on those days where my roots look greasy.

  6. I hardly ever use dry shampoo and usually it’s just to add volume when my hair goes limp. On those flat hair days I change my hair from a smooth look to a more textured look so I wouldn’t mind trying the texture sugar spray and also the conditioner mist.

  7. I am fortunate in the cooler weather I only have to wash my hair once a week. Usually the day before the wash is due I find using dry shampoo gives my hair lift and volume. On all other days I pretty much just brush and go!

  8. My sister loves to cheat (seriously she just over-rides rules in games and doesnt care!! It’s one of her quirks) but I don’t cheat because I like to feel like I’ve really won in fairness – ha we are extremely different! So she may love this as a regular thing but I’d only use a shampoo cheat product if I didn’t have time and I have to go somewhere important to look well groomed. I often wash dry shampoo out as soon as I can if I use one as I like to feel like I’ve got truly clean hair. How weird are we humans!!?!!

  9. Having tried using products while styling my hair has been a disaster for me. I stick with natural and maybe a light blow dry without anything except a spray of hairspray to keep in place.

  10. i think you’re right. I have oily hair/scalp and they work really well for me. I did overdo it one year and got bad dandruff so I only use them when really necessary now and not as often
